SAG AWARDS REPORT:

I MUST ADMIT, I AM INDEED A HATER….

“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate”
-Proverbs 8:13

If you are called a hater, wear it as a badge as you are in good company, remember king David a man after God’s own heart was ah hater as he said;
“Ye that love the LORD, hate evil”
….and….
“I hate them with perfect hatred”

I am guilty of HATING SIN. If loathing wickedness is wrong, then I am guilty as charged.
I am guilty as being created in the image and likeness of my God and abhor iniquity.

Here’s a few more ‘haters’ and ‘bullies’ of righteousness;
Moses used the word ‘abomination’ countless times, so Moses the meekest man on earth was a HATER. We read there is “A time to love, and a time to hate” as the writer of Ecclesiastes was a HATER. We find Amos as a hater when he said; “Hate the evil, and love the good” and who can forget in the book of Revelation chapter two we read where Jesus Himself (Red letters) said “I hate” not once but twice. I guess Jesus is a HATER too.

One might finally agree that God does hate sin but will take issue with God hating people.
Well one again God’s ways are not their ways, as per Psalm 5:5 where God hates the “workers of iniquity” not just the sin but the very person. The worker himself. We also read in Romans “As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” Paul writing how God hates the actual person Esau, not just his sin and in another verse he wrote; “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil.” Many Christians have a counterfeit love for not hating according to Paul who by the standard of the modern Church today would be a HATER of not just sin but actual people.

SUNDAY was the 18th annual SAG Awards in downtown Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium and God was there to shine His light on these fallen ‘stars.’

What are the SAG awards you ask?
The ‘Screen Actors Guild’ is the union for actors who work in film and digital theatrical motion pictures and television programs, commercials, video games, industrials, internet and all new media formats. The Screen Actors Guild is affiliated with the AFL-CIO and nominations for the SAG awards come from 4200 randomly selected members of the union. The full membership is over 121,000 in the film brotherhood. The Golden Calf is awarded to those in both motion pictures and television programs.
Once again at this event everyone who is anyone in Hollywood is there to flaunt their stuff and be honored among their own. With black limos everywhere, screaming fans on the sidewalk, cameras from all over the world snapping pictures, the stage was set for God to use us and try to get their attention and remind these little gods of Jesus. They however seemed to be detoured by their own fame or only cry out to God in a time of need as this past Sunday was their day to feed their egos on the Red Carpet. But not before they saw our signs.
HERE WAS THE LAYOUT.
I stood on the corner as each limo must turn by me to drive towards the Shrine Auditorium and when the celebrities walked out from their limo they were met with a crowd of onlookers and with 4-5 banners raised above the sidewalk crowd. At my location, a number of the black limousines rolled their window down to give me the finger, with a few thumbs up. Because the film industry has a large Jewish population, there was a few comments like; “Jesus was a Jew” to which I said “was”…..what is He now a Muslim, get it right, Jesus IS a Jew. Another comment was “we love the book of Hebrews” to which is said Oh, you now believe in the New Testament? And the most common response to my banner was “we are the chosen and we love Moses” to which I asked then where are your animal sacrifice as he commanded? No response.

One guy stuck his torso out the window and yelled “I masturbate to kiddy porn” and many took pictures of my banner. For years these people get photographed from everyone but on their own personal cell phones what do they have? They have pictures of us preaching to them. There was a guy standing next to me with a clipboard and he was in contact with every limo driver as each limo had a number on the windshield and some limos had special instructions. He was shocked to witness those celebrities that felt obligated to yell at me. The brothers in front of the Red Carpet were able to witness to the crowd as well as the fallen stars when they made their out of car appearance. At the end of the day the God of the Bible was there and it is recorded in heaven, with many opposing Jesus the great editor of their sin.

We will have four more Hollywood Award shows to preach at before the granddaddy of them all, the Academy Awards in late February.

STREET PREACHING CAN BE AS ANNOYING AS THE WARNING LIGHTS AND BEEPING ON YOUR DASH BOARD, YET IF IGNORED…..

….IT WILL COST YOU YOUR ENGINE, TRANSMISSION OR MAYBE AN ACCIDENT. THOSE FLSHING LIGHTS ARE INTENDED TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AND THOSE DELIBERATE WARNING SOUNDS ARE MEANT TO GET YOUR AWARENESS, FOR A REASON. But most will look at the blinking light and look away or even try to hide it with gum and that beeping noise, well you can turn the radio up and to try to drown out the sound or after a while you get use to the blaring noise. Yet whatever happens, the manufacturer warned you and a breakdown is in the near future. You did see the flashing lights and you did hear the buzzing sounds and just so you fully understand, AAA will not rescue you from hellfire. So when people tell us we are irritating and our methods are nauseating, well, that is like music to my ears. As I am doing what our maker wanted us to do. Sound the alarm and BLOW THE TRUMPET.

Friday I am heading out to Indianapolis for the Super Bowl, and the day after I return home I will be at the ‘Grammies’ in downtown Los Angeles. Then do the a few more ‘Hollywood Award’ shows like the EMusic awards, NAACP Awards, ACE Eddie Awards and later that month do my 29th year at Mardi Gras in New Orleans. After New Orleans the ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers’ concert will be in town for two days so we will be outside and lastly the sacred Academy awards at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood will be surrounded with banners and street preaching.

BIRTHDAY

Today is my birthday, born in 1961, which means I did have a mother. Not as many believed, that I was assembled with body parts of martyred saints in a dark catacomb by monks, then struck by a lighting bolt on a dark stormy night and was given life. I was the youngest of 5 children and had a wonderful dynamic duo in my upbringing, my parents. They have both gone home eternity and I long to see them again.
Today on my birthday, I will not celebrate with a party, cake, ice cream and gifts but I will be preaching at the ‘Producers Guild Awards’ in Beverly Hills today as a ‘THANK YOU’ to God for my life. I am thankful for almost a life of service to our King. To my mother that birth and raised me, my father who gave me character and taught me how to talk and walk like a man and our heavenly Father which has used what was waxed in me for His glory. That is how I will celebrate my 51st birthday. I am thankful for serving God in open air since age 18 and utilizing my youth, I regret nothing and do not know any other way to live but by taking the Word of God to others.
The photo above was taken in 1963 with yours truly in the middle, next to my two sisters and to date we are still a very close family. At birth I had a lot of heath issues, as in I have one functioning lung, born with two but only one that operates and as a street preacher that’s a handicap right out of the gates.
My father was a barber and when I was of age, I would go with him to work and sweep hair, clean the mirrors and shine shoes. That is when ‘Barber Shops’ were for men and sports and politics were discussed in the smoked filled shop. My mother stayed at home and later went to school to become on LVN. In the photo above is my oldest Brother now retired after his 20 years in the 82nd airborne and worked a short time for the INS, my second oldest brother now retried from working with the government and my oldest sister who owns a beauty shop, as for the sister holding me, she is a head nurse in the medical field and today always watches out for me. The picture below is my parents on their wedding day surrounded by my grandparents in Los Angeles.

You see, there is a human side to Ruben Israel, other than the guy you see holding a banner with angry people around him. Street Preachers are people too.

WHO SAYS NO ONE LISTENS……he has a Bible in one hand and a megaphone on the other hand as he is ready to open air on Sesame Street, all he needs now is a Christian T-shirt. Anyone can see he is truly Born Again as he does not have that angry frown eyebrow anymore.

AND JUST WHY DO YOU BELIEVE?

For over 30 years I have had the privilege of talking to people across the sidewalks of America as to WHY they believe in Jesus, and here are a few reasons I’ve heard over and over.

“I love God because He loved me”
“I want to avoid going to hell”
“I needed to get delivered from drugs”
“I was an alcoholic”
“I felt God moving”
“He spoke to me”
“I don’t want to sin”
“I saw Jesus”
“I should be dead but he…..”
“I prayed and He answered”
“He saved me from my sins”
“I’ve always believed”
“He healed me from….”
“I am the elect”
“He restored my marriage”
“He gave me a job”
“I was rock bottom and He was there”
“He answered my prayer”
“I felt His presents at…..”
“He met me in jail”

Now, I’m sure all of these statements are sincere but I think mankind could do better, as this might be the very reason so many people live a spiritual roller coaster ride. This should not be the foundation reason of WHY we need to believe in Jesus as the Christ, not that God can’t repair any problems, but should that be our only motive?

For example one day our Lord said something radical, He said, ‘Eat my flesh and drink my blood’ and many of His disciples were offended and stopped walking with Him. Jesus turned to Peter and asked if he was leaving too and Peter replied, No. Because you have the words of eternal life. NOW, that is an answer and that should be the very core of WHY we believe in Jesus.

Many TV evangelists, look into the television and say something like ‘God loves you and wants you to prosper, yes God is ready to bless you financially.’ He will give actual verses of prosperity and for that reason those watchers will motivated to believe in Jesus. Now God healing someone, restoring a broken marriage, fixing your finances and delivered you from drugs and alcohol can occur but should not be the nucleus of our belief in Jesus. Because once these things get restored, many will start all over again.

Why not believe in Jesus as the Christ because He is the Lamb of God, the only Door, the only way to God?

Here is Brother Johnny from our Bible Believers chapter in Phoenix Arizona with his testimony on how he was moved to street preach. In his own words, Street Preacher Johnny:

"A LETTER OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO ALL UP AND COMING STREET PREACHERS"

One of the fastest ways to lose friends is to go all the way with God. Once you become
serious about carrying your cross daily-forsaking all your idols, taking your eyes off the things of this world, turning to Jesus with all your heart and hungering for more of Him-you will no longer be satisfied with just being a PEW WARMER. The very fact that you are reading this tells me you are on the right track of wanting to do more for JESUS and that something is to publicly proclaim the Gospel as a" STREET PREACHER"." And soon you'll experience the worst rejection of your lifetime.

Why this change?
When you were a "LUKEWARM CHRISTIAN" (Rev.3:16) you were no trouble to anyone, not even the devil. You were neither overly sinful nor overly holy. You were just another halfhearted pew warming Christian, and your life was quiet and untroubled. You were accepted. But then you changed. You got hungry for more of Jesus and you could no longer play church games. You REPENTED and turned to the LORD with all your HEART. Down came your idols of money, fame, pleasure, sports-anything and everything that was more important to you than JESUS. You began to dig into GOD'S WORD. You stopped pursuing material possessions and became obsessed with pursuing CHRIST.
You entered a new realm of discernment and began to see things in the Church that before had never bothered you when you were "LUKEWARM".

And the result? Now your friends and family think you're crazy.
Instead of rejoicing with you or encouraging you, they ridicule you, mock you and call you a fanatic. "What happened to you?" they say. "We don't even know who you are anymore. Why don't go back to the way you used to be?"

If you've experienced this, don't be discouraged- Your in good company.

A few years ago the Holy Spirit awakened me and I came out of a "LUKEWARM" church
and found out about " STREET PREACHING" through BROTHER RUBEN ISRAEL'S AND BROTHER JEREMY'S (THEWATCHMANFORCHRIST) YOUTUBE CHANNELS. These Brother's greatly inspired me by their BOLDNESS and PASSION about PREACHING God's truth! and from there GOD really lit a FIRE in me. I began to see thing's I'd never seen before and I wanted to share it with everybody. I called many Brothers and Sisters in Christ on the phone and talked to them about "STREET PREACHING", Many came to my house to hear. I opened up my King James Bible to them, pointing out to them all the many verses that command us to publicly proclaim the Gospel.

I thought these so called Christians would see the truths, too-that they would love the Word of God also and would also like to join me in "STREET PREACHING".
Instead, most of them just blinked and looked puzzled. They said things like, "Are you sure you aren't going a little overboard?" or, "That's a little too heavy for me." The more radical I became, the less I saw of them. I was then moved by the Holy Spirit to "GO INTO THE HIGHWAYS AND HEDGES" (Luke.14:23) in other words "STREET PREACHING" after taking it to another level most of those so called Christians casted me out of their inner circle. Glory be to God! because then entered some some real BROTHER'S IN CHRIST! Henceforth the LORD has placed BROTHER JEREMY DE LOS SANTOS, JOSH DE LOS SANTOS AND RUBEN ISRAEL in my life to help further encourage me and help me in any way they can. GOD has also provided me with a great BROTHER in CHRIST in my own hometown of Glendale Arizona MARIO JUAREZ, We now TARRY together all throughout Arizona Preaching the GOD of the BIBLE.

I would like to now further EXHORT the brethren to continue going forth:

Again if this has happened to you since God awakened you, you are not alone. God's Word warns you what to expect if you are determined to follow Him all the way. You can expect any or all three reactions: 1. YOU WILL BE REJECTED.
2. YOU WILL BE CAST OUT. 3.YOU WILL BE STONED.

1.YOU WILL BE REJECTED.
Jesus warned, "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own. but because ye are not of this world, but I chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you" (John.15:19). Show me a believer who has become both a lover and doer of the truth, and I'll show you one that has been rejected and persecuted by the entire "LUKEWARM" Church. Rest assured, if you give up on this world, it will quickly give up on you.

Jesus had many followers- that is, until the word He preached was perceived to be too hard and demanding. The miracle-loving crowd heard His claims and forsook Him, saying, "This is too hard! Who can receive it?" Then Jesus turned to His disciples and asked, "Will you also turn away?" or, in other words, "Is my Word too hard for you, too?" Peter answered, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words to eternal life" (John.6:68). No, Peter and the rest of disciples would not walk away. They loved the word that most people said was to harsh and demanding; they knew it was producing in them eternal values. They wanted to follow the truth, no matter what the cost.

You must understand that those that reject you and forsake you because of truth have good reason: It is because they see YOU as a threat to something they hold dear. Your separated life is a open rebuke to their "COMPROMISE AND LUKEWARMNESS."

2. YOU WILL BE CAST OUT.
Jesus also warned his disciples of the further rejection they would face: "They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service" (John.16:12). Jesus was saying, "I'm telling you these things so you won't stumble. Don't be surprised when the "LUKEWARM" Church throws you out, because they don't know the Father or Me."

If you intend to go all the way with CHRIST, you must be prepared to bear his sufferings: "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me." (John.15:18,21).

3.YOU WILL BE STONED.
If you hold fast to your commitment to Jesus, even in the face of being rejected and cast out, the same man-centered majority will stand ready to stone you: "And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit" (Acts.7:59). Who stoned Stephen? The most prestigious religious council of the day (see Acts.6:12). Stephen stood against the entire religious system! he was a (STREET PREACHER).

Here was Stephen, a man who had his eyes fixed on Jesus yet who was hated by men who supposedly loved God.

This stoning will not likely take a literal form in your life. Think of it this way: Today, in this age of grace, if a man looks upon a woman with lusts, in God's eyes he is committing adultery. If someone hates, he is a murderer. Conversely, if vicious words are hurled at you for going all the way with God, you are being stoned: "Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their arrows, even bitter words: (Psalm.64:3).

BE ENCOURAGED AND CONTINUE GOING FORTH EVEN UNTIL DEATH!

"AND THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH"
(REVELATION.12:11)

IT’S GREAT TO HAVE A FISHING HOLE CALLED LOS ANGELES, WHEN OTHERS ARE SNOWED IN OUR FIELD IS RIPE:

Here is a good visual of WHY God has always had open air preachers. As you see all the tracts on the floor, I have been to events where there is almost a carpet of religious literature on the ground.

God is wise when He has us PREACH a message in the ears, as whatever they hear they are responsible for, and can not plead ignorance when standing before God. WHY give someone the option to get saved, or WHY allow someone to say “No thanks” to eternal life. Doing it the way God wants it done is always the right way, regardless of what others think or feel. The very word ‘Preach’ in Hebrew, Greek and good old fashion Webster’s Dictionary is to raise the voice. God knows better and this picture is a conformation to those with eyes to see.

WEDNESDAY night was the 38th annual Peoples Choice Awards in downtown Los Angeles and after that event was over another was just starting, as the Clippers had a basketball game right across the street. So it was a good old fashion twofer.

Now for those of you who do know much about the Hollywood awards, I will try and explain them, as January starts the award shows leading up to the Academy Awards in late February. This perticular award show is voted on by the general public, hence the word ‘Peoples Choice.’ The first Peoples Choice show aired in 1975. The first awards recognized were The Sting as 1974's Favorite Picture, Barbra Streisand was the year's Favorite Film Actress, and John Wayne as its Favorite Film Actor. Ratings for the annual event peaked in 1977, when the 3rd People's Choice Awards attracted 35.3 million viewers who witnessed Farrah Fawcett-Majors win for Favorite Female TV Star, Star Wars won as the Favorite Picture, and Streisand and Wayne win again in the Film Actress and Actor categories.

But that was then, this is now. Here are a few fallen stars that appeared at this years Peoples Choice and waved to the crowds and I only know who they were by people yelling their names;
Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, Ashton Kutcher, Cameron Diaz, Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Alec Baldwin, Courteney Cox and Tina Fey.

Let me give you a lay out of the event. The black limos arrive next to the Nokia Theatre, and as the falling stars walk out from their limos, they are met with a sidewalk of cheering people. Now this is where I stood a few hours before the event started to get a good position. The celebrities would then wave to the crowds on the sidewalk and walk towards the sacred Red Carpet as they were greeting with props. Remember this is Hollywood and everything is a prop. The crowd that was cheering seated in the bleachers as the backdrop were paid screamers and all the camera lights flashing were just strobe lights everywhere around the magic carpet and it was there they would get interviewed and flaunt their dresses or latest trend.

Now because this was the Peoples Choice Awards, a number of celebrities walked to the sidewalk to thank the crowd and right directly in front of my banner, I was so close I could have pulled them over the barricades from the street unto the sidewalk. None responded to my banner in their face as they just looked and smiled, they were much to busy feeing their egos from a willing crowd and with all the cameras around them they did not wish to appear hateful.

I was asked by LAPD to move to another location and did as it was a better location than where I was, I did and was even closer than before, even the paparazzi tried to move me out of their way because my sign was blocking their view. I did not recognize anyone, even when they were right in front of me but only heard their names bellowed from others. As far as I was concerned everyone there looked plastic.

CLIPPER GAME:
By 5PM the Award show started as it aired at 8PM Eastern Time and everyone was seated in the theater, so I walked down the street to my regular corner at Staples Center and preached to those arriving into the 7:30PM game. The Clippers hosted Miami and the game was a sell out. Bodies were everywhere as many stopped to take a picture of my banner or try to debate and defend sin. The police gave me much liberty as in the past at this venue and the sidewalks were filled with people ripe for the Word of God.

God’s timing is always perfect, as the conversations were priceless. One young man told me he was ready to leave Christianity because his Pastor pointed him out publicly and told him that he needs to start paying his 10% to the Church. This Pastor had another person leave the Church for not paying his 10%. After we talked and he was encouraged, he was ready to confront his Pastor and find another Church.

I only brought one (give away) Bible with me and after talking with another young man, I asked him if he had a Bible. He said “No” and I gave him the only one I had with me, he thanked me and walked away reading. Later that night, I had no more tracts and I had a believer come up to me and we talked for a few minutes and he thanked me for standing up for God. But before he left, he gave me one of his tracts and within a few minutes I was involved with another person. After about 10 minutes of conversation, he asked me if I had any literature, I was about to say no, when I remember I had just been given one. It was a good tract, filled with verses and the basic Gospel so I gave it away. I only give tracts to people that ask, so if I bring them, it’s just a few.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine”

When I arrived downtown, the Lord favored me with a parking spot just 1 block away from the action. Now, my wife only being my wife wanted me to stay home because I have the flu, complete with a sore throat, fever and had been coughing for a few days, nevertheless I went as she knew I would. The scriptures teach to PREACH in season and out of season (2Tim.4:2) and last night was out of season for me, yet the Lord had me there and it was worth every hour.

SINCE I JUST PREACHED AT A HOLLYWOOD AWARD SHOW, I WOULD LIKE TO NOMINATE JEREMY FROM NEW MEXICO FOR THE BEST PREACH FLIM OF THE YEAR….AT LEAST SO FAR.

THE B-52 ARE BACK AND NOT THE BOMBERS, THE 1980’s BAND

FRIDAY the 13th at the Grove of Anaheim this punk rock band from the 80’s reared it’s head from the past. I guess their most favorite songs were “Love Sack” and "Rock Lobster" they were a post punk/pop rock group that had significant airplay on MTV and they are still around. We showed up to drop the bomb on them. The majority of the concert goes were seasoned citizens, we trusted they got a senior discount when they purchased their tickets and the handicap parking was filled immediately around the Grove. A taxi came by and dropped off two older folks that were both blind and using their white canes to go inside the concert. But not before they heard preaching and those with good vision saw and read our banners. The event security was out in force from keeping those senior citizens from attacking us and the Anaheim police were also called but they told the event that we were within our rights. Many of these were raised up with MTV and by the looks, have not outgrown it. One guy who was wearing sunglasses around 8PM said he was a Pastor and told us that our approach was not very Christian as he was more loving going to the concert. Unfortunately, he never read Ephesians 5:11;
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them”
As he has more in common with darkness than light and sin then holiness. Others tried to defend their music by saying there is nothing wrong with enjoying yourself, that’s what God would want. There was only one way to get inside the venue and four of us were there. One senior citizen did try to attack Mark but was held back by security and something tells me these people are going to be very sore in the morning. We hope there is not a mosh-pit and these people will limit their dancing as someone just might break a hip…..or die.
Pray for other labors to reap our harvest.

HERE IS BROTHER PAT WALKING THE BOURBON STREET AFTER GETTING PUNCHED IN THE EYE ON NEW YEARS

SATURDAY night at Anaheim Stadium there was a ‘Monster Truck’ night as the 17 race begins at Anaheim and Brother Mark preached this jammed pack event as at this venue we can walk up to the main gates with banners and preach. This stadium is inside of a large parking lot, yet we been allowed inside the grounds and preach for decades. Any event hosted by Anaheim Stadium from a baseball game, when the ‘Rams’ played there, to religious meetings, concerts and other events, they give us much liberty to stand at the main entrance and preach. Anaheim is in Orange County, which is a very conservative section of southern California, yet at this event. Every ‘Red Neck’ from 50 miles away showed up to cheer these monster trucks roll around on the field. These people do not understand a hellfire that’s eternal, but they do understand that if they do not Repent and believe in Jesus, they will get NO ‘Macaroni & Cheese’ or ‘Tater Tots’ for eternity and that is HELL to them. Know your audience

SUNDAY was the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills.

The event started at 5PM so we were there a couple hours earlier to get good position to display our signs. Now just what is a ‘Golden Globe’ you ask? This particular Golden Calf is an accolade bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign. This event is telecast to 167 countries worldwide, generally ranks as the third most-watched awards show each year, behind only the Oscars and the Grammy Awards.

Mark and I stood on a small side street where a line of black limousines line up before they are checked for ID’s and released towards the Red Carpet, this paramount because there is no one around but us and our signs on the sidewalk. As each limo must pass by or pause by us before they can move and we were so close that we could open the open the limo door if we wanted. No one is permitted around the Red Carpet and the closest you can view the limos is one block away and there the crowds are thick as the black stretched cars just drive by, which is why our location was prime.

Anyone who is anyone in television and film world is there, from actors, actresses, directors, producers, writers and those that fund these programs. Those involved in HBO, Showtime, NBC, CBS, ABC and such flaunted their signs from the dark tinted windows. With several hundred vehicles that passed by, I did recognize a few actors. Cuba Gooding Jr. seemed to have a few drinks inside the limo but rolled his window down to ask me a question about my sign, the only problem was I don’t understand drunk. Another limo came by and rolled down the window and it appeared to be Ozzie Osborne, as the voice from the long limo said “Rock and Roll forever” as he too sounded like he had more than a few drinks in the back seat. Paula Abdul stuck her head out just to puff smoke at Mark and many of the limos that were stopped, took pictures of my banner with a warning of laundry list of sin as you could see the flash inside the back seat. A number rolled sown the windows just to yell their sin others banged on the window as they passed.
We were blessed with a great parking, about 30 yards from where we stood and a great location, with favor from Beverly Hills police. No doubt these people were alerted to Jesus, sin and life after death.

MONDAY was the Martin Luther King parade in gangland L.A. or commonly known as South Central Los Angeles.

In 1983, President Ronald Reagan made King’s birthday a national holiday, though it was not observed until 1986 and is celebrated on the third Monday every January. The weather was nice as I have done this parade in the heat, rain and wind. But the nice weather produced a large crowd, as the police we everywhere along the route. Doug used his Christianize wheelchair to follow the route on the sidewalk and preach, a number of local brothers walked the route with signs and I stood at a main artery to get those participating in the parade.

This was billed as the largest King parade in the U.S. complete with at least 30 marching groups, over 20 floats, 17 drill teams, 16 marching bands, seven color guard teams, numerous dance groups and more. As in past years there was a heavy South Korean presence, with the ‘Grand Marshall’ of the parade a Rev. Hae Hak Lee, a South Korean Presbyterian minister and a member of South Korea’s parliament. As he sat in the convertible, he looked at my sign but said nothing, all he did was hold a Korean flag in one hand and do the parade wave with the other hand, as he seemed ashamed of the Gospel.

The largest cheers from the sidewalk came for Ronald McDonald and Denny’s as the biggest hissing noise, was a tie, between the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles Police Department. Both were followed by those with signs and petitions claiming Police brutality. This is not the Rose Parade nor the Macy’s Parade as tow trucks, trash trucks and bail bondmen were all a part of this parade and everyone in the parade danced to some type of loud music or banging drums. There were communist groups passing out anti-government literature on the sidewalk and a number of unions walking the parade. People were passing out flyers for testing to see if you are the father of that child, along with flyers with an 800 number for battered women and anger management classes or leaflets for family attorneys.

There was a black pro-sodomite group that pranced the route also the Hare Krishna’s had a float and did their public dance and chant in their pajamas and of course the ‘Occupy’ was there in force trying to incite the people. How can I forget the large 10 foot picture of Gandhi and another of ML King being pushed in the street. To say he has become on idol is an understatement.

The Police department flaunted their stuff as every type of vehicle they had was exposed in the parade as if to say “We Got This, Ya-all.” Where I stood was at the tip of a ‘Y’ in the road/route and they could not miss my extra large banner in the middles of the street. The Mayor of Los Angeles quoted my banner with his microphone as he drove by and said he believes in Jesus. The Chief of police, the sheriff of L.A. county, most of the city counsel and a number of local news people all acknowledged Jesus when they saw my banner.

They were also reminded that Jesus is the KING of KINGS. The very liberal Maxine Waters decided to get out from her car and walk the route around the same place I was standing and after she walked by me she almost fell down as she seemed to slip on the street by my banner and the loudest chant of the day was a tie between “No justice, NO peace…NO heath care, NO peace” and “Vote Union, Black Power.” Now, I have been preaching parades of all types for decades across our nation and never saw white folks with fists raised shouting “White Power” in a city parade….and if they did, that would be considered racist, but not on Martin Luther King Blvd. in South Central.

Many axed if I was protesting the parade others axed if I knew that God/Jesus/Adam & Eve were all black as many confessed to be saved, yet professed being proud they were black. African flags on T-shirts was the dress code for men and for women, wearing African dresses and colored hats was the fashion statement. Petitions were getting signed everywhere, from anti-government, anti-police, to race discrimination, anti-boarders, health care, more government aid and Obama needed for four more years.

In my opinion, Rev King, Dr. King, Mr. King was nothing more than a communist, adulterer who should have kept to preaching a watered down Jesus loves you message in Church. His life and politics were immoral and if he had a dream once, he is living a nightmare now. He might have preached about ‘freedom’ yet he lived in bondage and was most likely murdered by another black, yet he is the poster-boy against racism….go figure, only in America.

I guess it’s just safe to say that some people are just proud of the color of their skin and they are proud to have ML King be their leader. Is there something wrong with that…..its not like they made an idol out of the guy or turned him into the virgin Mary, right.....then again?

Brother David from Houston is arrested for just holding a sign at a marathon. He called me last week about some problems he has had in Houston and now this. He was arrested about two months ago which made the news and charges were dropped, you might have thought the lesion was learned? Note the first thing said by the officer was regarding the video camera.

Here is a HOT news story of a Muslim that attacked Larry and Tony last year after preaching a concert in Tampa and is now charged with plotting to attack Tampa-area nightclubs and a sheriff's office with bombs and an assault rifle to avenge wrongs done to Muslims. The Kosovo-born man made a video and stated that he wanted to bring terror to the hearts in the Tampa Bay area. WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported on the creation? (Gen.1)…..This just In from your local news. Reports of a big blast could be heard everywhere as some witnesses claimed it sounded more like a ‘bang’ than a blast, nevertheless whatever it was IT WAS LOUD with flashing lights. The noise forced light to shine, formed mountains and moved water. The environment rocked and plants began to grow, which fed animals that evolved from small ponds. Humans also advance from pond scum, into apes and now reported walking in the upright position, all due to this ‘BIG bang’ heard by many. No one knows where this big bang came from or how it was created as that does not MATTER. Because that is what people smarter than you and I have said happened, so who are we to question them? Now, there has not been another ‘bang’ heard since the first bang nor do humans evolve any longer, but that does not mean we do not understand what happen. Stay tuned for our next report…..that some people think the earth is round…HA! When will this end?

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they would have reported the flood (Gen.7)? Oh CNN would have showed all the dead bodies, floating kittens and balloted puppies around the sealed ark. We have footage taken from our ‘Action Helicopter’ of women and children that were once crying and now are faced down in the water as Noah nor his family did not assist anyone into the ship. Where is the love of God, the reporters would broadcast. How could God be so cruel to His creation as the camera would zoom in on children’s toys floating around a playground. And it will be breaking news that the story of the flood was taken from other religious writings, the Jews simply stole the story.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported the tower of Babel (Gen.11:5-8)? CBS would report what is God’s problem? We are one. We are humans made after His image and likeness and all we want to do celebrate unity and he does this. I thought God was not the author of confusion? Contractors say next time they build a tower they will trick God and use sign language and not talk to each other. The question now is, will this God now be against the Olympics, inner racial marriage, unions, world championship games, the U.N. and the one world government? As all we want to be one, is this wrong? In a related story, there will be a world concert planed to raise money for a new bigger tower at a disclosed location, with the theme song ‘We Are The World’ check local cable listings for details.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen.19:1-29)? NBC would ask why is the Hebrew God so judgmental, these people were born that way and there were innocent women and children in those cities, not to mention pregnant women and harmless babies that were killed as a result of that fire. Even the animals and birds were burnt for no reason. How can anyone believe in a God that is so intolerant, we thought God was all forgiving? Arson investigators, fire marshals and detectives are looking into the fire as arson as the cities are now a big crime scene and as soon as the fires stop burning the forensic team will go in. Police are looking for Lot and his family as a person of interest as he was seen fleeing the city with two unknown individuals. WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported on the 10 plagues of Egypt (Ex 5- Ex 11)? ABC news could report that every one of the ‘plagues’ can be explained as this has nothing to do with the Hebrew God but pure science.......
Plague number 1: The water which turned to blood and killed all fish and other aquatic life. This was done as a result of those Jews sacrificing animals next to water and the water turned red and was contaminated.
Plague number 2: Frogs, well it was mating season, don’t read more into the story.
Plague number 3: Lice, this problem came from gorillas as the zoo was in town that week, like the AIDS virus blame it on apes.
Plague number 4: Flies, these swarm of flies were a direct result from the dead fish in the bloody water.
Plague number 5: Disease on livestock, nothing more than mad-cow disease, it was a mere coincidence that it happened around the same time. It was human error, nothing more, everyone stay calm.
Plague number 6: Boils, this happened as a result of the hair lice which spread over Egypt.
Plague number 7: Hail and thunder, Mother Nature freak storm, so much for global warming.
Plague number 8: Locusts, well after the rain and hail we had an excess of grass and crops, hence we had an surplus of grasshoppers too, nothing more, no need to panic as everything is under control.
Plague number 9: Darkness, one word….eclipse.
Plague number 10: Death of the first-born of all Egyptians, this was done by Israeli soldiers as a distraction so the Hebrews can loot and scoot from the Egyptian community.
The King’s army is pursuing Moses and company and they are trapped by the Red Sea. And on a follow up report the army has not returned and it is reported that the God of the Hebrews judged them for stealing as they walked in a big circle for forty years.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported the revolt of Korah (Num.16:1-40)? The BBC reports that Moses is such of a dictator that no one can question him. Anyone can be used of God, anyone can be called of God as we are all children of God, His elect, His kings yet Moses MR. Humble himself wishes bad luck on Korah and his family. Moses hated Korah all along and had him built his house on a fault line and waited for the day an earthquake would destroy him. Moses seems to rule by fear.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported the story of Jonah. The nightly eyewitness news would sound like this, Good evening and do we have a whale of a story tonight. Reports of a mad man that jumped from a perfectly good ship into the water, claimed he was swallowed by a large fish for three days. Then after the third day the fish blew him out on land and the nutty man was seen dazed walking the streets and warning of a judgment to come scaring everyone. Well, the day predicted came and no judgment from his God as witnesses said they saw him later on a hill crying. Police are investigating and considered such a person to be on crack or some other drug, because no fish was found and his judgment story was a big lie. Fishing stories have been known to exaggerate but this one is tops them all. And on a related story, another extreme man named Jesus said he will rise from the dead after three days and used this fish story to confirm His prophecy. Police are looking into this matter and are ready to make an arrest before someone gets hurt.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported on this Jesus guy? Our investigation team has found some dirt on this cult leader who claims to be the Messiah, as those in His hometown said he was born of fornication and this cult had family ties. The mad man, aka: John the Baptist who said Jesus was the Lamb of God. Well, they are cousins. This is a family cult as not even His brothers believe in Him. Reports are, that anyone that who works with Him dies or goes to jail. John His cousin was beheaded in prison, the man that betrayed Him committed suicide. The man that denied Him at the cross was crucified upside down and the others were jailed and killed as well, in fact all of His followers were told they too would be hated. Jesus was a troublemaker from the very start of His 3 year ministry and needs to submit to the elders. He takes scripture out of context and the only reason people follow Him is to get a free meal and see one of His staged healings. He is just bitter against the devouted orthodox religion and He is a hater for not accepting everyone. The Rabbi Wolf from the religious community says; “There are many people walking around claiming to be the Christ, but everyone knows that when the real Messiah comes he will be a king like David. This Jesus guy deserved what he got”

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported the crucifixion (Mk.15:21-41) We are live at the dump site and Yes, it is confirmed that Jesus died and could not even save Himself. It was not the fault of the Hebrews nor the Romans but it was democracy that killed Jesus as the Roman rulers saw the people wanted Him to die, it was allowed. The real evil is democracy. During the execution His disciples were nowhere to be found as they ran off. His ministry was anti-government and anti-religious, He was a false prophet as Rome has been prosperous and is now home the world’s richest religion.. He just wanted to remove the government and the religious community. He lived a lie and even His followers stole His body and claim He rose from the dead. He lived a lie and even His followers stole His body and paid off those that guarded the tomb, to claim He rose from the dead, he has now been known to appear on tortillas, tree trunks, windows and chips.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported on the early Church? This Jesus guy appeared a number of times to His followers as many of them were jailed for causing a disturbance in cities and trying to start their own religion. They meet in houses and do not keep the Sabbath nor the traditions of the orthodox religion and always cry persecution when jailed. All this being hated and persecuted by others is only self fulfilling prophesy they heaped on themselves. Who wants to join a church where everyone will hate you, your family will leave you and you must live holy, when we can just burn a few animals and get on with life.

WHAT WOULD THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT GOD IF they reported on Peter leaving jail (Acts 12)? King Herod had Peter arrested and while he was in jail and allegedly there was an earthquake and this man of God fled the prison. He is now a fugitive. A wanted man, who skipped bail and is on the run, maybe he will be featured on ‘Rome’s Most Wanted’ and what kind of religion is this where their leader is a escapee? No wonder these churches or cells are underground, these are lawbreakers leading others to be criminals and they don’t meet at the regular synagogues or temples but they have their own compounds and make God look bad.

We are exhorted in the scriptures to remember those in prison, in jail and in bonds, so does this mean what we must start a jail ministry? No, in fact those verses are there to remind us that real Christians will be jailed for their faith and we should not be ashamed of them. Not that God can not changed a man in prison as I have spoken in prisons and many inmates seem to be involved with Jesus because they have the time, but after they are released they go back to the vomit from where they came from. As per the Epistle of Philemon, which was Paul writing as a prisoner in Rome regarding one Onesimus. He was a runaway slave who had fled from his master (Philemon) house and most likely he took with him money and goods. While locked up Onesimus and Paul developed a bond of friendship. Now Paul did not command Philemon to free his slave Onesimus, but rather receive him as more than a slave but as a brother in Christ and fellow believer. Onesimus was a convert from Paul’s incarceration.

“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body”
-Hebrews 13:3

The Epistles are filled with words like;
“Remember my bonds”
-Colossians 4:18
“and was not ashamed of my chains”
-2 Timothy 1:16
“Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner”
-2 Timothy 1:8
“Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds”
-2Timothy 2:9
“For which I am an ambassador in bonds”
-Ephesians 6:20

Paul was not visiting the murderer and the thief in jail but it was he that was in chains for the gospels sake. In fact most of the New Testament was written from a jail cell. As this was common for men of God in the Bible to be jailed or in prison for giving a message. John the Baptist was put in a cell for rebuking the king and was later beheaded, Jesus was arrested in a garden after He prayed. In the book of Acts we find Peter and John arrested and we find Paul getting arrested and standing before the courts several times. In the Old Testament we find Joseph in the kings prison, Samson was bound with bronze chains, Jeremiah and Daniel were jailed, to name just a few. But today, if a street preacher gets arrested in America, it is considered shameful and maybe he deserved it by saying something offensive to someone.

The only time we read about a minister getting arrested is if they molested someone or robbed their church funds. We do find Christians in other countries jailed for their faith but in America you are considered a criminal for such. Most Pastors will teach on the subject from a book they read or a story they goggled and were inspired, but nothing on a personal level. Most Biblical scholars can give you a good history lesion on the subject, from the early Church but have never seen a jail cell themselves. Most Christians will never know what’s it is like to sit in a cell for their faith, have handcuffs cut your wrists or to be chained and stand before a judge for their faith.

Yet Jesus prophesied such was to happen or was that to the early church and not for us in America today? Ever wondered why Christianity in the States have rarely tasted of such verses?

Perhaps this verse in John 7:7 can shed light on the matter;

“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil”

Could it be that the modern Church does not testify against the world as being evil, but have more in common with the works of the world? Unless the words of Jesus are in vain, if we rebuke the world as evil, they will hate us, persecute us and jail us. No need to understand Greek to find the truth here. There is no Bible study, Church meeting, revival, seminar, Christian retreat or song that can prepare you to sit in a cell for your faith. You have tasted of BIBLE and it is good.

Fruit of Biblical Christianity vs. fruit of modern Christianity;
“For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise…..ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face…..I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, I am bold also…. I speak as a fool….Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I….. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I….Are they ministers of Christ? I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft……I speak foolishly….Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one…..Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep….In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen…..in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city……in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren…..In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often……in cold and nakedness. Beside those things, the care of all the churches…..Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?”

Now compare that to today, or I guess that was then, and this is now;
…..he who has the biggest smile is of God. One must be tolerant and not judgmental, one must prosper and have constant joy and peace. One must sing and raise your hands high and emind God you love him. You will allow the love of God to radiate from your face and you must speak softly and never argue with others. Everything you do is in the perfect will of God and whatever sin you do, remember it’s all under the blood. You will not be hated, nor will others persecute you because they really want to be just like you. You will show the manifestation of God by driving the nicest cars, eating the best foods and living in the biggest house. No need to covet others as they will covet you and this will bring them to the Lord, no need to evangelize. Go to the biggest Church in your area because everyone knows, he who has the highest steeple has the truth and make sure you get ministered too by watching TBN, because everything rotates around you and how you feel, right? Why not, you are the Kings kid……

Hey brother, I had a dream with you in it! I've been getting persecution lately from this club I'm in about speaking the true gospel of Jesus Christ. In the dream, I just finished school, and I saw you and a bunch of other preachers were there outside my school, I was so happy, I remember I was with you guys and then these people, one who I recognized from the club I'm in, they were building up these boxes so high, so that no one could see us. Then, we went to a different location and I got a sign, I don't remember what was on it, but I believe there was an ice cream cone on it, and something in the ice cream cone. I prayed to Jesus for understanding, and I got the interpretation that the sign meant NO sugar coated lies, I feel the Lord has really encouraged me to continue preaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

First of all I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was born and raised in Michigan, where Greenfield Village was a yearly family outing, and Henry Ford Museum was a wonder. I moved from Michigan in 1998. Before I moved I saw the muslim takeover of Hamtramck but never dreamed it would outreach to a total take over of Dearborn.
As I mentioned, I have moved from Michigan, but my family still lives there. They are not able to enjoy the once beloved sites and history.

Hi Brother Ruben,
Some of the brethren refuse to shake a man's hand who is going to hell. Some of the brethren say this is right, and some say this is wrong. What would you say? I realize that Gal. 5:12 refers to cutting off the children of disobedience who are leading people to hell, but 1 Peter 2:17 says to honor all men. Is it possible to honor all men, without shaking the hand of some people who are wicked? I thought that shaking someone's hand was a form of respect. Could you please clear this up for me?

Hey Bro,
Went by myself, but I felt the Lord tell me He was sending warrior angels with me. Didn't see any angels, but things went great, piece of cake, preached for 3 hours, had some christians come and encourage me. Found a great free parking spot, weather was great, ticked off the so called christians, got spit at, flipped off, the usual. Glad I went!

I believe, my old congregation became a cult because they fear/ed the Pastor - Proverbs 29:25 - more than the Lord, and/or love him more than the truth.
I am drawn to your ministry because you preach to the lost without compromise
I would also remind you that God gave me the strength to alone admonish 100 -150 self righteous and fascist Palestinian supports, in a rally against Israel in the streets of Cork city.

The Lord has guided me to reprove my ex-Pastor many times in order to restore my good name, that I may do a good work for God. Sadly he [ and those supporting him within the ‘church’ ] will not hear because of their pride. After backsliding a while [ being drunken this Summer] - God has now given me this guidance to ask.
And after listening to a lot of preaching by many preachers as well as yourself - Jesse Morrell, Kevin Farrer and others; I would like to ask you if you would receive me in the new year, as the Lord tarries.

I am without sufficient funds just yet but in time I will have them. The great distance aside, I wish to please God - Hebrews 11:6 and with God I have enough to offer to be of use.

Here's the issue. I'm an American who lives in south Australia and when walking in rundle mall (in Adelaide) I Met "Private Frank" an older brother who was passing out Bibles to people.
I sat down to talk and he was thrilled that I was an American and an Armenian to boot. Eventually I gave him my large cross that was around my neck (he is truly beautiful and chock FULL of the Holy Spirit) Anyhow. He asked me to get him a ww2 warm army coat next time I was in the u.s. and two years later I am now here and finally got a huge package I plan to ship to him...only...I'VE FORGOTTEN HIS LAST NAME!!! I was prayin that either you or one of our other brothers might know of him...He's created quite a "stir" over the years preaching as he does - I've googled and have not come up with anything.
I think he calls his ministry Gods Army and vaguely think his last name was something like sedlack??? But nothing comes up under that name. He was all over the news years ago cause the mall folks wanted him to pay for the right to hand out bibles... We were immediate FAMILY and now I need your help to complete a two year process of being a woman of my word.

You are at an age where it should be made abundantly clear if it's not already, that some of the methods you choose to recruit Christians and sons of God, is quite literally, turning away more than you are bringning in. Certainly there are those who need a harder push and a harsher form of preach so it gets through their thick skulls, but ridiculing homosexuals and making quirky jokes to argue for your cause is not going to work, especially if it's the gays you are trying to convince, lol. I'm not gay, but it's plain as day to see that you are actually making Christianity look bad. If you are still too stubborned to hear this out than I don't know what to say. It's common sense, you need to tone it down, othewise, all this work you are doing is going to be a waste, and you don't seem like a guy who likes to waste his time.

I found out my Dad was in prison so I wrote him a letter. I haven't seen him since I was 3 years old. He wrote me back. In it he mentioned that he and his brothers were all Harley guys. He said that he used to ride with the Hells Angels and was a member of the Outlaws biker gang. He said a lot of our family was in the Hells Angels. I don't really know the Morrell side of my family. I never knew that. But when he said that I thought of you because I know that you preached once outside of their club house at Stergis. Who knows, maybe you preached to some of my family. My Name is Giovanni Camilleri and I'm going to be making a you tube documentary "Other than beads" at Mardi Gras this year. My goal is to try to capture some of the Mardi Gras happenings, good and bad, that most people don't know about.
The street preachers are just as large of a part of Mardi Gras as anything else, yet, I've never once seen them documented on any New Orleans film. I want to change that. Assuming that you're going this year, I would be honored to interview you, or someone on your team for five or ten minutes.

Below is the link of the video of Kevin getting arrested while preaching at the Raiders game 2 days ago. Kevin tells it like it is. After Al Davis the owner died this year I remember seeing a clip of the coach preaching Al into heaven, how Al was looking down on them and smiling after they won the next game after he died.
Al Davis had a reputation of being a nasty cut throat kind of owner. Kevin lets the fans know that Al is in hell and says he hopes Tim Tebow is watching this, how you can't even talk about Jesus at a Raiders game. Good Stuff!!
In the video the cops lie to Kevin and tell him that he is on private property and must leave. I spoke with Kevin and he said he had conferred with his attorney and stood his ground because where he was preaching is actually public property. The cops didn't know what to charge him for because it wasn't trespassing, they ended up charging him with obstructing official business. Lets pray he soundly defeats this charge in court or it gets dismissed!

NEW YEARS PREACH REPORT

LUST LOST VEGAS:

FRIDAY afternoon we arrived in Las Vegas and after getting the key to the house where we were staying we yoked up with a few local street preachers and the brethren from New Mexico and preached on the sidewalk at the Bellagio casino. As there is a different crowd at this casino every half hour as they get a free outdoor water fountain show with lights and music.

Along the sidewalk were tracts, signs, banners, Bibles raised and open air preaching, it was impossible not to hear the Word of God as the hordes of people walked by. The police came by and talked with me but we had much liberty on the sidewalk due to a court ruling via Bible Jim a number of years ago. Banners and megaphones are allowed.

SATURDAY New Years Eve the crowds on the street were large as we were out in force on Las Vegas Boulevard. We positioned ourselves by Caesars Palace and stood in front of the police barricades as that protected our backs from getting attacked as the Vegas Metro police rushed the crowd continually to pull people away from us.

They pulled at least 20 people away from us and arrested a few more. Later in the night the riot horses were coming out about every 20 minutes to keep the angry crowd at bay as these large animals walked sideways and can push a large amount of people back and keep a space between them and us. A few drunks slapped the rear of the horses and those people were quickly arrested and hauled inside of the barricades. Then no sooner than these horses would go back inside the barricades behind us, the drunken crowd would rush us again to defend and justify their sin.

The revelers would complain to the police that we were rude and called them names and the police told them “It’s called free speech, they can say whatever they want, just walk away and don’t touch.” Brother Jim Webber had a team by the Bellagio and there were other Christians passing out tracts all along the Vegas Strip. One thing the mockers seemed to be likeminded on was doing the ‘Tebow pose’ around us.

They mimicked Tebow as he prays during the game and these sinners would get on one knee with head bowed and scorn the Name of Jesus. This is a new thing as I must have missed that memo, but the heathen seemed to be on the same page. I guess anything to mock Christianity?

As the New Year began the crowd gazed the sky looking at the 15 minute firework display all around the Vegas Strip and when it was over the smoke was like fog on the Strip but the preaching continued. These people think a New Year means all their problems are over and somehow on midnight January 1, they are bankrupt with all their problems. Well, we were the reality check and they were the same sinner they were on December 31st in the eyes of God.

There was a variety of preaching as the crowds stood around us for hours and most of the photos used were taken from the Las Vegas Sun (local news paper) and few blogs.

Now IF you judged the preaching by appearance, one could be mislead and misjudge what they are watching, as in the middle of what appears to be chaos there was fruit to be picked. One guy spent some time with Brother Rolando and wanted to get right with God and not live in sin. The Lord used Rolando and ground was gained with this person and after the fruitful conversation was over, this individual gave us all a hug and thanked us for being there.

Another person heard Grant preach and stood around watching and listening for some time, then being convicted walked up to Grant and asked for prayer. He wanted God to remove the homosexual thoughts he was having and was very moved by what he had heard, after prayer he was ministered too and continued to stand around. Days later I received this email from that very person:
“Hi, Not sure who I spoke to on the strip, las vegas I am a christian but I am also opened up to one of the guys who went that night, in your group w/ a red sweatshirt and cap, anyways to find out who that was? He prayed for me and i had told him something that I have never told anyone not even to my best friend, no one.
I like to contact him, i know there wasn't anyone else wearing a red shirt besides him, he was also on the mic and he is white w/ blond hair. If you contact him I am the guy who confess that I was gay, and he prayed for me. You can fwd him my email which is ******@gmail.com

We had many people that just could not walk away as we all had good conversation as a result of the open air preaching. We started preaching by 6PM and about 1AM we walked. Now as with previous years we would need to get on the road and get to Pasadena for the Parade and Rose Bowl, but that event was not till Monday January 2nd. It is a 123 year tradition that NO parade will happen if New Years falls on a Sunday, as Sunday is Church day in the city of Pasadena. So with that extra day, we had fellowship and drove back to Los Angeles Sunday afternoon. We are thankful for Brother Webber and Tony for putting us up for the weekend as we plowed the field known to the world as sin city.

Vegas celebrates New Year
“….A group calling themselves “street preachers” stood on the Strip brandishing signs that read, “Repent,” and, “Warning Hell Awaits You.” Nearly 100 people who were out celebrating New Year’s Eve surrounded about a dozen of these street preachers standing outside Caesars Palace.
Over a bullhorn one preacher yelled, “Put down the Bud Light and pick up a Bible.” The group of preachers and members of the crowd began a heckling match. “We’re out here telling them about God’s judgment,” said a street preacher who identified himself as Mario. “This is Sin City; this place is wicked and vile.” Mario said his group has traveled from all over the country and that it’s their second time in Las Vegas….”

PREACHING THE ROSE PARADE AND ROSE BOWL:

MONDAY was the Rose Parade and Mark, Grant, Dale and I drove to Pasadena at 7AM where 1 million people gathered the 5 mile route to hear us preach and watch floats made only of living plants. After the parade banners followed the route and of course the ‘Occupy’ people were out and followed behind as well. Mark and Grant preached against them to the delight of the crowd on the sidewalk. Occupy did not walk the whole route as they bailed out after a number of blocks.

After the parade, we went to the Rose Bowl and preached outside the stadium to the 90,000 plus people. We had much liberty at the Rose Bowl standing at the main entrance and again many of those did the ‘Tebow pose’ in front of us. The Wisconsin fans were sore losers as some came out fighting mad and the last thing they wanted to hear was street preaching, but the preaching did provoke many conversations. The Oregon fans like their state were very liberal but were a bit courteous towards the Gospel. After the game Dale and I stood outside the gate where the players walked out to their fans as we had a chance to preach to these little gods. A few of them responded to the preaching, that they said they were going to ‘get wasted’ after the game, it was a great location as they were signing hats and shirts and needed to walk by our banners. God allowed us to have free parking about 50 yards from where we preached and it was after 7Pm when we drove home.

FAREWELL 2011

Last night I did my last preach of 2011 in Los Angeles, the event was a Bob Seger concert at Staples and I must say it was an interesting group. These people were coming in with canes, wheel chairs and walkers, I even saw one blind woman with a white cane tapping her way to the concert. One guy that seemed in his 80’s was being wheeled in by his nurse, and the sidewalk reeked of BenGay and Mothballs.

Husbands pushing their wives in a wheel chair, wives standing behind their husbands walker to keep them up and what seemed like grandkids walking their grandparents into the concert and a few people had to take off their glasses and clean them just to read my banner. I personally do not know who this Bob Seger guy is or was, but he filled Staples Center and he has a following, maybe not for long but he has them.

There is something I had witnessed last night and I must share this wit you. That is, white men can’t dance. Especially old white men!! You got to be on drugs or with this crowd, hardcore prescriptions to think you can dance with any type of rhythm but when God created the white race, He did not inserted the dance gene into the wiring as I saw this first hand.

Some of these old gals that rolled by me after reading my banner with a laundry list of sin found from Galatians chapter 5:19-21 said; “F*** OFF, you A** Ho** JERK!!” So many of these people had such a hard heart, in the twilight of their life. We have all heard people say that before they die they will cry out to God and God must save them. Well, based on what I witnessed, that is a lie, these people will be too hard and stiff neck to cry out to God. No wonder we have issues with their children and grandchildren, the rotten fruit did not fall far from the dead tree.

ONE WOULD THINK THESE PEOPLE SO CLOSE TO DEATH WOULD NOT BE SO BITTER TOWARDS GOD….YOU WOULD THINK?

Overall, these people heard and saw the Word of God as they limped by us and they reacted as a person waiting to be executed would react if someone walked up and down death row with a picture of the last person that was just zapped in the chair. These people no doubt know their time is limited and they do not want to be reminded of their fate. It was a great night in downtown LA as the sidewalks were filled with humans, traffic was jammed around Staples and limos were dropping people off around us.

VEGAS OR BUST:

Today Brother Grant from Portland is coming to my house as Friday he will drive with Mark and I to Las Vegas as we will preach, Whatever Happens In Vegas Does Not Stay In Vegas BUT IS NOTED FROM HEAVEN! There we will yoke up with a few local brethren and six street preachers from New Mexico and one from Phoenix. We will be preaching Friday evening on Las Vegas Blvd and New Years Eve when they close down the Street for the party mob, as we will be planted by Caesars Palace till about 2AM. Sunday afternoon we head back to Los Angeles to walk the Rose Parade and preach at the Rose Bowl on Monday.

Pray for us grunts as we plow the difficult fields where everyone is saved, knows God and are the elect because they repeated a prayer once. Prayer for safe travels and endurance from our end as we will face an unmanageable crowd, also for favor with the police as for years we have kept the Las Vegas Metro Police department busy puling people away from us and arresting drunks that get a little to close and personal.

“YES I LOVE JESUS”

The majority of the people we preach too in America, say they believe in God and even acknowledge that they “love God’ however when asked how do they know they love God. They reply, “because I feel it” or something lame like “well, I praise Him all the time.” As if that’s evidence of our love towards God?

John records what Jesus had to say about the matter as He summed it up in just 7 words;
“If you love me, keep my commandments”
John 14:21

He did not say; “If you love me, just tell me” or “remind Him” nor did He say “If you love me, just sing a song to me.” He said to DO SOMETHING and it is not going to church or watching TBN. Our love for God should be ACTION or do I dare say the “W” word? WORKS!

Our modern day Church loves to use the book of John, because that writer amplifies God’s love towards mankind, in fact I would say more gospels of John are handed out than any other book. If someone gets saved at Church, he is told to start reading the book of John and of course the most famous verse used is John 3:16 and let us not forget that it was John that placed his head on Jesus at the last supper. God’s love to us is not the issue, the issue provoked, is our love towards God.

Now if we use John and his writings, I believe that we can understand how the Bible can be a ‘double edged sword’ and can cut both ways as it is that same book of John where we can define how we love God. As this gets very little attention.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him”
-John 14:23

God did not say, “I love mankind” it was demonstrated with the Father giving His son, hence there was ACTION. Jesus did not walk around earth, telling everyone He loved His Father, He was obedient to the Cross as His love was in ACTION

Jesus did not tell is disciples, that if they loved God to place it on a bumper sticker, but to OBEY HIM.
“He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me”
John 14:24

We are exhorted as believers to not let our love be in words but in DEEDS as that is proof of our love towards God.
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome”
1 John 5:3

I remember once at a concert, where this one kid says to me how much he loved Jesus and I said ‘Not if don’t keep His commandments’ to which he says “I will show you how much I love Jesus.” As he pulled off a button that was pinned to his shirt with the face of Jesus on it and opened it up so that the pointed edge was pointing out from the button and he began stabbing himself with the needle from the button. While yelling “I love Jesus…..I love Jesus.” Blood was pouring out from his body from all the pricks he was giving himself as his shirt was almost purple from the bleeding. His buddy just stood there and watched him stabbing himself, jumping up and down, screaming how much he loved Jesus as I tried to stop him. After the needle was bent and could not puncture him anymore, he said to me, how that proved how much he loved Jesus and walked away. Not everyone is that extreme, but people love God like they love ice cream.

Still not convinced? How about this verse;
“And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it”
2 John 1:6

And again using John ‘that old love bug’ guy, he clarifies that God is not concerned with your praises of love, prayers of how much you love God, if it is without works to match.
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth”
1 John 3:18

Lastly, the Apostle Paul devoted an entire chapter to define the word love or as he calls it ‘charity’ found in 1Corinthians chapter 13 and it is filled with ACTION from our end. In this old street preachers opinion, the word ‘love’ has been watered down as so many words today, like believe, Christian, disciple, and even gay. But praise the LORD for God’s written Word that will shed light to the right path for those with eyes to see.

TIS THE SEASON

OK, EVERYONE GATHER AROUND UNCLE RUBEN, AS YOU WILL HEAR A STORY ABOUT THE REAL SAINT NICHOLAS.

Now since this is December, and every one has an opinion I wanted to be the first to point out some facts about this man that is both loved and hated. Everything I will write regarding this matter, did not come from any religious books, commentaries or Christian history books but regular Encyclopedias (The World Book Encyclopedia, New Encyclopedia Britannica, Academic American Encyclopedia and such.) So without further ado…..

Nicholas parents died when he was a young child, leaving him well off and to be raised by the catholic church. He devoted his inheritance to charity as he was ordained into the priesthood at age 19. Later he became a bishop of Myra (Turkey) at a young age in the 4th century, which is why modern ‘Santa’ is dressed in red suit trimmed with white, with red hooded hat as this originated from the Bishops miter and cope worn.

He spent time in prison during the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s persecution of Christians and later released by Constantine. He was known to spend his days fasting and nights doing devotions. He was known to travel to Palestine and Egypt.

There was a story, where a poor man who had 3 girls and was ready to sell one as slave or turn one over to prostitution and he could not marry them because he had no dowry. The story is that St. Nick heard of this and went to their home at night, climbed up the wall and tossed a bag of gold into a window. The bag flew into one of the socks that was drying next to the fireplace, hence the tradition of hanging stocking to be filled with gifts. Nicholas did this three times and was caught by the father who thanked him and was asked not to tell anyone.

He was at war with the pagan traditions of Greece and Rome around Myra as he removed pagan temples like Artemis in Myra and ripped apart the temple of Diana with his hands; “he destroyed it, angrily, down to it’s very foundation, which he tore out of the ground.” Wonder what he would do to a local catholic church today?

Once before a hearing with Constantine, he did not like what his opponent was saying so he got off his chair and slapped him in the face. He was chained up and jailed for that outburst.

And of course the catholic church has made of idol out of him as they have Mary the mother of Jesus, that most non-catholics do not even speak/teach/preach on these individuals. I think most active Christians would have much in common with this man Nicholas and IF he were alive today the very church that sets him up as an icon would have considered him an outcast today. Not to mention, he would preach against the ‘Santa’ guy, if not be in jail for ripping apart those jolly faced pictures or slapping ‘Santa’ face at a mall.

There is no other saint represented by artists more than Nicholas except for the virgin Mary. As he is know to the catholics as the ‘Fighting Saint.’

He died December 6, AD 343 in Myra and was buried in a cathedral.

FACTS:

The transformation of Nicholas to a Christmas icon started in Germany where the reformed churches were in the majority.

Until the 1800’s most people pictured St. Nick as a tall, thin man that smoked on a horse

In the Netherlands and Belgium St. Nick visits December 5 th, where he leaves gifts in shoes next to the fireplace and has been known to have a side kick named ‘Black Pete’ who carries a birchwood rod to whip naughity children.

In 1809 “Knicker bocker’s History of New York” published a new version of the saint as author Washington Irving described Nicholas as a stout, jolly man with a board brim hat.

On December 23 1823 a poem entitled ‘An Account of a visit from St. Nicholas’ appears in the Troy Sentinel. The poem begins with the familiar line ‘Twas the night before Christmas.’ Nicholas appears a fat jolly man with a twinkling eyes and a red nose, wearing a red suit trimmed with white fur, riding a sleigh pulled by eight reindeer.

In 1863-1886 adds in ‘Harpers weekly magazine’ put the white beard on him, walking with a skip and reindeer pulling a sleigh and in 1931, magazine ads for Coca-Cola pictured Saint Nicholas into what we commonly picture as Santa Claus today, who say advertisements don’t work?

There is a city in southern Indiana named ‘Santa Claus.’

Like with many religious, they honor those that lived holy but while alive hated them, persecuted them or put them to death. Well hath our Lord said;
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”

….and for the record…..

I do not believe that December 25th was the date nor the month that Jesus was born, but I do acknowledge a nation giving honor to the birth of the son of God, be it in December, July or mid October. I understand the roots for that date and most of what we have in America is based of paganism, as such the days of the week used. All named after pagan gods, rather than the Biblical terminology, of day 1, day 2, day 3……..Sabbath Day. Every dollar bill we have in our pocket is filled with pagan icons, yet we work for it, save it and spend it and no one makes an issue. As an open air preacher I do take advantage of preaching Luke chapter 2 this whole month, at events, streets, malls and parades, what a great time to remind our world of the that birth in a manger.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”
-Isaiah 6:9

What a great time to publicly promote such a verse………..

SEASONS BEATINGS

Days before the birth of Jesus is celebrated headlines as these were everywhere; “Rowdy shoppers eager to get the latest Air Jordans clash with police” as shoppers waited in line for hours busted doors and pushed and shoved and even fought their neighbor to get a new pair on ‘Air Jordans.’ And can someone tell me what this has to do with the birth of Jesus from a virgin in a manger? These same people will stand in line for hours, for shoes and come late to Church on Sunday. These same people will fight and argue for shoes and never contend for the faith. These same people will fight and push for their shoes only to have someone rob them and shot them on the street for those same shoes.

THIS IS NOT A WHITE CHRISTMAS

In Pineville NC dozens of police officers had to break up fights and restore order at a local mall while shoppers were waiting for an overnight sale of a popular basketball shoe. The disturbance started inside Carolina Place Mall just after 5am. Witnesses said as mall officials opened the mall doors, as crowds of people pushed their way in and jumped over those that fell on the floor. Mall security said "They almost took the door off the hinges," one shopper who didn't want to be identified said, "there were women with babies in their hands and they on their backs." More than a two dozen officers from Pineville Police and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were stationed inside the mall as the stores continued to make their sales sending 40 officers to the scene. One person was arrested and charged with resisting arrest.

At a metro Atlanta mall these limited edition sneakers turned into a fist fights as several people were arrested, including one woman who left two young children in her car as she waited in line for those shoes. Hundreds of people began lining up just after midnight hours to get their hands on a pair of Nike's new $200 Michael Jordan sneakers. They were being sold at four different stores in the mall. Apparently, some people could not wait until the mall opened its doors at 8 a.m. Police were called to the scene after a crowd of people apparently pried open the mall doors and rushed in. Police escorted most of the people back outside. At least four people were arrested in that incident

In Louisville Kentucky, Metro Police had to break up a fight early today at Jefferson Mall over the release of a new style of sneakers, they received a report of 75-100 people in a fight over pairs of the new Air Jordan Eleven Retro Concords. One security guard was trampled by the crowd waiting for several shoe stores to open early and when they opened he went down. One customer bragged that he bought two pair of the shoes and sold one pair to another person in line for more money. Another customer said; "Man it's crazy in there, people getting run over and security guards getting trampled and stuff," he added. "They almost tried to arrest us!” he was asked “Fighting over shoes was it worth it” his reply “yeah.”

In northern California someone fired shots at the Hilltop Mall in Richmond, where around 3,000 were people were waiting in line for the latest Air Jordan 11 Retro Concords. This was done to try and spook the crowd but they didn’t move from line. In Redondo Beach CA. the line turned into a crowd and a mob as police were called to control the shoppers who were being pressed against the doors waiting for those shoes. In Indianapolis shoppers ripped the door of its hinges and trampled others to enter a mall early and get those shoes. In Seattle police used pepper spray to keep crowds at bay.

At a Detroit mall a crowd became unruly and began forcing their way inside the Taylor’s Southland Mall. The shoe mob forced open a pair of doors almost three hours before the 8 a.m. opening and stormed inside. Security called for Taylor police, who then summoned assistance from Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Southgate and Brownstown Township to restore order. Once inside, police say there was some minor interior damage to decorations and benches that were toppled over during the scuffle. A 21-year-old Detroit man was arrested for inciting a riot.

“BUT NO ONE EVER LISTENS TO YOU GUYS”

How often do we hear that from people and mainly Christians that wish to water you down and become lukewarm as them? Earlier this week we were at the ‘Guns and Roses’ concert at the Forum as the concert did not start till 9PM there were bodies everywhere to hear this band that formed in Los Angeles, in 1985. I stood outside by the large forum sign as Mark stood at another entrance, with Doug preaching at the limo entrance.

Now as with any concert the people did not want to any preaching, because they have a ticket in hand and they came for their music and in this case, they wanted Axl Rose. Even claimed him to be god. Most of the people that screamed and shouted at me were women, as they had an opinion on everything and I was going to hear it. They bellowed “I am a @$%$&$3$@# Christian, you ))&(&*^&% jerk….. @$^$ hole” as they flipped me off and accused me of being unloving. I asked this one guy, while his love doll was cussing me out, “if he was thinking about marrying that girl?” He just smiled, giving me a look like, glad it’s not him she is ripping into. So I told him I’d do him a favor, ‘I will keep her busy and he should RUN away….RUN OFF….RUN hard….RUN fast and don’t look back. He can thank me later.” Well, that only added fuel to the already overheated gal.
The conversations were priceless and sobering and just before I rolled up my banner, I had this guy walk up to me a say; “Dude, I saw you right here 25 years ago, right under that very sign and holding a large sign. I can’t believe you are still around, wow you really believe this?”
Now I did not know this guy from Adam but that moment of time 25 years ago was filed in his brain and was opened that night. After 25 years of conversations, meeting people and seeing things that 25 year old memory was ajared with clarity. Now these stories have happened a number of times in a number of cities because I have preached the same venues for years and within time you will see the fruit of your presents based on your faithfulness, for all that is done for the kingdoms sake is not unproductive.

“So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it”

Do not think what you do is in vain, be it holding a sign, preaching in public or talking to someone one on one, or just someone a tract, all is not in vain.

This also sheds light that perhaps Judgment Day can happen in 2.5 seconds, as mankind will have full use of that mind the way God intended and standing before the holy presents of God, you will know every time you lied, stolen and sinned, even your very motive to brought to light. It will be you that condemns you before God, unless of course these memories are blotted out by the Blood of Jesus. And we as being eternal beings, again the way God intended will spend that eternity in His kingdom or the Lake that burns with Fire.

Another time I was at my local home depot getting some lumber cut for a home project I was doing, when the young man helping me asked this question; “have you ever been on youtube before, because there is a street preacher that looks just like you?” I replied, Yes, that’s me.
This young man almost leaped for joy, as he said that he and a few people from his Church had watched a number of youtube clips and could not believe some of the things they had witnessed and heard. We had a good time fellowshipping as this half hour trip to home depot lasted over an hour as he cut and asked questions regarding open air preaching. He had memorized things that was preached as if he had just viewed those clips that day. Even with a medium like youtube God can use to inspire viewers to boldness and most of us will never know the full impact.

I was speaking at a Church in New Orleans once and after my message I had this Christian walk up to and apologize to me. I asked for what? He told me that “20 years ago he saw me on Bourbon Street preaching with a large banner” and tossed his beer on me. Well I have had so many gallons of liquid poured on me, I can’t recall each one, but they could. He said, that it was my voice while I was speaking that he remembered and once he matched the voice with that memory, the dots were connected. "YOU TAKE THE BIBLE LITERALLY PREACHER!”

Oh how often I’ve been accused of such. I personally don’t know of anyone that takes the Bible literally and it’s easy to debunk that claim, buy using the Bible itself. Here are just a few verses as I’m sure the Lord will led you into many others.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”

Can I really do ‘All Things’ in Christ?’ Can I make a nuclear bomb with whatever products I have under my kitchen sink or rebuild an engine with duct tape and bubble gum? No. Now if I took that verse literal, I could jump up and touch the moon or speed on the highway in route to Church on Sunday, right? No. But why not, that’s ‘All Things’ and all thing mean all things!! I mean if we take that verse as precise as it reads, we should be able to jump to the moon. How about a college student who does not study at all, then goes out and gets drunk the whole weekend before finals. Comes back to the dorm and repents of his sin, cries out to God and is forgiven. Is he not in Christ and does this mean he will now ACE those finals because he can do all things? NO.
DO NOT TAKE THAT VERSE LITERAL

John 10:9 reads; “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture”

Is this verse realistic, can Jesus really be a ‘door?’ Does He have a hinge, a knob and maybe a peep hole or is that verse to be taken symbolically? When we enter from this door do we hear a creak and does Jesus have a keyhole?

John 1:29 reads; “The next day John sees Jesus coming to him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world”

If we are to take that verse literal, than Jesus was a ‘lamb’ and perhaps had wool on His body and not hair. Not to mention He sounded like this “Repent….Bahhh….for the….bahhhh….kingdom of God…..bah, bah, bah…is at hand…bah, bah, bahhhhh” Is that not taking that verse in John literal? We know he was born in a manger but come on.

John 3:3 records Jesus saying “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”

Now the strict reading of this verse would conclude that we need to come out from our mother again? That would be literal? Remember Nicodemus asked that very question. “Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born” As a Pharisee I think we could understand why he would ask such, as they seem to take everything to the letter. Answer, No.

When Jesus called a woman a ‘dog’ was she really? When Jesus called Herod a ‘fox’ was he really? When Jesus called the Pharisees ‘vipers’ were they really? When He says the blind were leading the blind, were they literally without vision?

He said, that we need to eat His flesh and drink His blood for eternal life, how literal should we do that? Only cannibals and Catholics do that. He said, if we drink of the water that He gives us will never be thirsty again, should we not drink any liquids now? He said that He was the bread of life and whoever comes to Him shall not hunger, is this ultimate diet? The example are endless.

The Old Testament is filed with metaphors, for example in Psalms 17:8 we read; “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings” Does God have ‘wings’ or is the verse clearly speaking of His protection? Context can define those words, rather than looking for another translation or knowing Hebrew.

To answer that question, I say show me the verse in question and we will read the context to find out if that verse or verses are to be taken symbolically, or it might have a spiritual rendering, and maybe it was written in a poetic state, or perhaps metaphorically speaking. Lastly, the verse in question just might be taken literal, as context will dictate such.

THIS MIGHT BE WHOLE NEW DEFINATION TO THE WORD ‘STREET PREACHER’

Hollywood honors its own by giving those in the big screen, television, music, radio and theater a ‘star’ on Hollywood Bvld, which is known as the world famous ‘Walk of fame.’ Is this an honor or a warning from Luke 6:26?
“Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets”

God himself never gets any credit in Hollywood, as they use His Name often (in vain) and the Name “Jesus Christ!” is used frequently without recognition nor paying royalty fees. Almost every year while preaching at these Hollywood awards I remind them of such, in fact I have volunteered myself to walk on stage and take that award on behalf of God coupled with a speech. ….to date, no takers…..yet.

It has always astonishes me that Christians do not know what their function is, within the body of Christ. I’m not taking young believers, I’m speaking of those who have been around a while. Just what is their purpose? There are those that hop from ministry to ministry, from fellowship to fellowship, from Church to Church, from evangelism to choir, to feeding the homeless, to holding a sign against abortion, to being a prayer warrior to watching TBN.

Does the eye every wish to be the foot, or the leg demand to be the ear? Just what would happen if the finger stops working because it is bored, or don’t feel at peace and is now seeking to be a tooth. Would your body function?

“But now are they many members, yet but one body”
1Co.12:2

Children, at least have some type of vision when they grow up, as they wish to be a doctor, police officer, fireman or nurse. But an adult Christian…..do they know their part in the body of Christ and perform at it? Christianity reminds me of many college students I’ve preached too, as every year they change their major and some might even be what I call a ‘career student’ as they don’t have a clue how to function in society. Oh but they have an opinion on society.

Is your part in the body to be in Sunday school then sit in a pew on Sunday for 45 minutes, go to a midweek service and play on the internet or watch TV? This only edifying to yourself and not God.

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard a young street preacher tell me, this is my calling, this is where the Lord wants me or I know this is the will of God to proclaim in public. Then after the honeymoon is over and he has bitten off more than he can chew, he moves on. Not that they are not saved, just perplexed as to who they are in Christ.

“For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”
1Co.12:12

If you know what the will of God is in your life, GO DO. Don’t try to explain your position, or justify your posture, just GO DO. Who cares what is said about you, what is written against you or what gets gossiped behind your back, GO DO. We are not here to please anyone but God, endure, be content and GO DO your part.

My advice is simple, you should know the voice of God for your life and because you don’t have ‘peace’ about it does not mean this is not of God. Most likely, it is your flesh that is at war. Do you think Moses was at peace when God used him? Do you think John the Baptist was at peace in a pool of water looking like a mad man? Was our Lord at peace, before the cross? Think Paul was in peace sitting in a prison day after day or what about John, after getting boiled in oil and sent to an island. Wonder if he was at peace? No, but they had a task that needed done and they endured what as required.

If I waited to feel at ‘peace’ before I served God, I would only go and minister in Hawaii. Know your reason for being, kill your flesh and be content. In all my years of preaching on the streets, campus or events, I’ve never wanted to be like someone else, I do not mimic others. I don’t read where Matthew wanted to sound like Mark nor Luke tried to emulate John, and Paul did not wish to be a Peter. But rather God used these men of character and they did their part in the body of Christ and the body functioned well.

“For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Interesting text this Romans 12, as we find that within the body of Christ there will those who’s job it is to warn and exhort and it should be done with straightforwardness, have we circumcised this part from the body of Christ?

The event was still in the beginning-stages and the big speakers on the sidewalks weren’t booming yet so we had the freedom to make ourselves heard…Preaching to the crowds gathered on the sidewalks…Close and personal…

Confronted by the Cape Town Metro Police…..trying to reason with the officer…The officer in charge told us that we need to have permission (a permit) from the event-organizers. The paper in his hands was an email that I gave him from the City of Cape Town wherein I was told that I do not need a permit if we are under 15 people. The officer told me that the email is dated April 2010 and that I need to re-apply for permission. The officer told us that we cannot preach ANYWHERE in the City of Cape Town at this day of the event and that if we refuse to comply then they will confiscate our banners, signs and bull-horns. We tried to reason with him as to another location where we can legally preach, but he wanted us out of the city … so we had no other choice than to pack up our stuff and go home. I am just glad that we started to preach immediately at our arrival so that by the time the police caught up with us we have already reached thousands of people!

Saturday was the KIIS FM Christmas concert, this is a local radio station that has a yearly concert as this year one of the performers is none other than Lady Gaga. The sold out afternoon event is held at the Noika Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

What a timing as I arrived there was a Kings hockey game that was over and coming out from Staples which is across the street and the Lord provided me with a parking spot just 1 block from both venues, with the meter paid for two hours. Finding parking in Los Angeles without paying $25.00 and walking several blocks is the norm, however finding this one with the KIIS concert, the Kings game and the Convention center events it was a needle in a haystack.

I do not know which crowd was larger, the one outside or the one on the street. The KIIS concert with Gaga was held inside the theater, however the street in front of the event was blocked off for a large block party with a rap band grabbing themselves and screaming crowds everywhere. I set up my banner right in the middle of the street and people came to me to try and justify sin. One guy was drunk and asked “Where in the Bible does it say that God says it is wrong to get drunk.” So I showed him and after he read the text, he said he never saw that before, so I gave him my Bible as he appeared to be in shock. He took it and walked away reading.

I guess the Kings played a team from Canada, because many Canadians were shaken by my banner, perhaps they had not seen many street preachers in that country. As one drunken Canadian grabbed my banner and started to get physical with me so I removed his hand off my body and this seemed to surprise him, as his friends had to pull him away. He later was convicted and returned to apologize.

I spend most of my time encouraging a mother who was a Christian and was ready to leave until see saw my banner and said she was convicted. The whole time she stood next to me and defended the faith and had many questions herself. She grew up in a Christian home and her parents were not happy with her husband but they have been married for a number of years and he is a nonbeliever as she has returned back to the faith. She was surprised to see how many people responded with hatred towards God and how rude people can be just by reading a sign. I pray that God give her strength to endure to the end and if she alone was worth going. Police and event security gave me much liberty and after I walked away the winds began to pick up again. The photo below you can see my black and gold banner in the background.

At one point of the outdoor concert, the music stopped as they placed a young child on stage and axed for his mother to please get him as he was left to walking by himself. They pleaded several times for her to step forward and warned those that brought their children not to leave them alone. Now the Gaga crowd going inside the concert were a different animal, as her disciples are a cross between a ‘gay pride parade’ and a UFO alien from Area 51. one must wonder if these kids haves parents? Rebellious would be an understatement.

On this December 3rd date in 1948, Ozzie Osbourne was born as he will be personally responsible for breaking up families, leading many into drugs and turning from God.
One of his famous quotes was; “I never set out to be a businessman. I just wanted to have fun, fu** chicks and do drugs”
On December 3rd 1968, Elvis makes a come back but not with gospel songs.
On December 3rd 1974, aviation authorities in England issues a warning to pilots to avoid a 40 foot long inflated pig during a Pink Floyd concert.
On December 3rd 1974 at the Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati, 11 concertgoers variously aged 15-27 years were trampled and suffocated trying to get in and see the ‘Who.’
And this day, December 3rd 2011 it is noted in heaven what a holy God thinks of music and those that will raise their hands and get emotional over the pulsation of loud musick at the Nokia Theater.

WHY IS OUR MESSAGE CONSIDERED TO BE SO EXTREME WHEN WE PREACH IN PUBLIC?

Now who will argue that prophets of old were harder with the religious of their day?

Who will argue that John the Baptist did not reprove the religion of his day?
(see Matthew 3 for details)
Who will argue that Jesus did not argue and strongly chide religious people?
(see Matthew 23 for details)
And the Epistles, are they not filled with verses against false believers and teachers?

To which I say the theater we live, EVERYONE is religious and devout.

Everyone has their version of ‘holy books’ be it from science, history or spiritual writing.
Atheists have become a form of religion.
Heathen consider themselves to be spiritual.
Cults seem to have these special revelations from God.
Tree huggers, believe plants have souls and Mother Nature is the creator.
Evolutionist, have strong faith that we came from apes and will return to mere dirt.
Many Churches are filled with people who know religion, tradition and idols.
Seminaries are full of leaven and tolerance .
Sodomites are accepted and allowed to teach from the pulpits.
Your basic believer thinks themselves to be theologians, claims to be filled with the Spirit of God, and thinks they know Hebrew and Greek because they can use a Strong’s concordance?

Ask anyone what do they think God is about and 95% will answer “love” not “holy” as in Holy Father, Holy Ghost and Holy Bible.

We are told by the ‘love bug’ cult that we should preach love and forgiveness because Jesus was only hard on religious people. Have these people NO DISCERNMENT of the world we live? Most people believe they know God and are saved, and are filled with His Holy Spirit and go to a true Church as everyone else is wrong and should we bless them or expose them?

Couple with the fact we do live in America.
With Churches everywhere, Bibles can be bought at a truck stop, we have Christian radio/television/internet 24 hours every day and I would say most kids today had some type of religion in their life. With that said, we are a people that have heard the name Jesus almost from birth, and the death, burial and resurrection is not something new. To Much is give, Much is required.

“Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Saturday was the USC vs UCLA game at the Los Angeles Coliseum and if you never preached a college football game before, allow me to give you a 20/20 of the surrounding. The parking lot looked like a ‘Occupy Wall street’ tent city but cleaner, the area was filled with bar-b-que smoke, booze was flowing, and those without a ticket. No problem, almost every tent or RV had a big screen TV, as this stadium is their MECCA and just to be by it, is worth the pilgrimage.

As Jeremiah says, we were there to BRAG ON THE GOD OF THE BIBLE and not allow the strong man to glory in his strength.

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD”
Jer.9:23-24

These are the two major colleges in Los Angeles and winner gets bragging rights. Most of these people were not concerned of God as they have a full schedule and all it details is a brown pigskin. The language of people just walking and talking is ‘F’ word this and ‘F’ word that, perhaps both universities lack Basic English.

Police around the stadium have always given us much liberty to preach since the 1984 Olympics and since then we have done concerts, both pro and college football games, religious gatherings and any big event that wishes to seat 75000 people to over 100,000 people. They were signs everywhere and believers passing out tracts to those walking by, I must say that everyone at the game had some type of Christianity in front of them.

Now the stadium itself, is near the heart of gangland, so those same people mocking Jesus might not have a car or tires after the game, because parking your car past 10PM when the game was over is as high risk as a homosexual getting AIDS.

Sunday was the 80th annual Hollywood Christmas parade, where the celebrates and soap opera stars were out waving to the crowds on the sidewalk from their float or convertible with the temperature in the 80’s. The route is from Hollywood Blvd to Sunset Blvd as thousands line the streets to meet and take pictures of their TV, movie and music stars, whereas we came for a different reason….and it was not to see Santa. We gave a salty message to those celebrates as they passed by us.

This years Grand marshal was Marie Osmond but the LDS Church was not the Hollywood religion of choice. That goes to Ron Hubbard and the Church of Scientology, as they manned the large balloons like those in the Macy’s parade on thanksgiving. Wearing shirts that support Scientology, as they were of course rebuked. And you know you are having a Christmas parade in Los Angeles, when santa’s helpers are riding in a low rider and Mexican mariachis get almost the same applause that santa gets.

We preached “HUMBUG” on satan clause as of course he was the main attraction, as he, frosty, the reindeer, toy solders, papa smurf and those gingerbread people also got a good scolding too.

Now the celebrities drove by us and could not miss our banners and most responded to the preaching. So for my yearly Awards of ‘Best’ and ‘Worst’ in Hollywood goes as followed.
The ‘Worst’ fallen star Award that responded with a smirk, goes to……..none other than….Montel Williams.

The most ‘Shocked’ Award this year, goes to…….drum roll please….. La Toya Jackson, as she seemed to get a jolt from the preaching and the person next to her says, ‘don’t listen to that guy’

Now, the winner of the biggest ‘Yes, I do Believe” 2011 Award goes to…….drum roll…..the envelope please…….Joan van Ark of "Dallas" & "Knot's Landing” responded and continued to Praise the Lord with hands raised.

Hollywood will not get a special place in heaven as they get preached too, as any other sinner we meet gets preached……a salty message of the FULL GOSPEL.

Wednesday evening we canceled our Bible study to preach at ‘The Grammy Nomination Concert’ from Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Where lady Ga-Ga and others performed a live concert, with tickets going as high as $225.00 per seat. As trends come and go, these are the fad setters that will cause families to separate and cause children to rebel. Many Churches speak against fads from the pulpits as we had taken that message to the ears and eyes that need it.

Brother Doug and I were outside the venue as the Santa Ana winds kicked up and holding a banner in the wind is liken to reeling in a Marlin from the sea. The wind was blowing trees, branches everywhere, moving signs as I struggled with the banner. Doug who sat in a wheel chair was able to move around preaching with a hand held sign before security caught up with him and asked him to stay on the sidewalk. This did not seemed to be a filled concert, even with Lady Gaga, Grandmaster Flash, Furious Five, Lupe Fiasco and LLCool J as even the scalpers had problems selling their tickets outside.

I will be back on Saturday for another concert with Lady Gaga at Nokia, so pray more laborers come and reap our harvest. Keep us in your prayers!

Saturday before noon we went to Los Angeles city hall and preached at the ‘Occupy Los Angeles’ camp. Well, we lasted about 3 minutes before we were surrounded by irate misfits and it started to get physical. I preached that these people were law breakers and will soon ‘Occupy a jail cell’ and have broken the law of God and will soon ‘Occupy the Lake of Fire.'

Well, they did not take too kindly to our free speech much, as our banners were ripped down, we lost two of them during the struggle, however the police were able to return them but they did spray paint on another banner. My mega phone was broken and during the struggle those peaceful protesters tried to break my right arm during their show of love towards us.

As much as they blanket themselves under ‘Free Speech’ it is only for their use, just don’t preach to them or they will push, shove, spit, pour drinks, destroy your signs, and pull your megaphones not to mention attack you.

Before the police came, they fought among themselves as we caused no small stir amidst the squatters. Some were angry others tried to shield us and move us pleading with us to leave. Their leaders rush in to try and control the angry mob but they wanted us dead and let me advise you, if you plan on preaching to these people, consider wearing a nose plug of type. They stink and if it were not for rain, these misfits would never shower, I guess in that world it is a badge of honor to reek.

The police did move in and moved us keeping the angry ‘Occupiers’ at bay as we walked across the street and talked about what I can or can’t do. I was told by LAPD that these people were not peaceful and the department wanted us to preach at two locations because they had a permit on the city hall lawn and I pointed out another location and the office in charged agreed. However because the ‘Occupy people’ were gathering with fists raised, the police got very nervous and I was told due to their inside ‘Intel’ that things were going to get out of hand and we needed to go right now. A riot was ready to erupt. We were later escorted to my vehicle for safety reasons and traffic was stopped so I could get out from the area, as we were followed by an unmarked police car away from the Occupy compound.

At the end of the day, these people had Church brought to them and have rejected all authority, from government, police, parents, Church and God. I had a good long interview with their media leader that was profitable, as police were needed maintain that sidewalk dialog. The poles from the two banners taken were never returned, however the police officer in change knew me and said he will find them as he found my two banners. He knew that I would be at the ‘America Music Awards’ in downtown Los Angeles the next day and said he would give them to me at that time. After 30 years of open air preaching the police will know your preach schedule, as the officer in charge knew where I would be the next day.

Sunday, the ‘American Music awards’ was held at the Nokia Theater and we stood in the rain to put God’s Word in public view of both the crowd and these fallen stars

The AMAs were created by Dick Clark in 1973 to compete with the Grammys and here is how they differ, the Grammy Awards are awarded based on votes by members of the entertainment industry. Whereas the AMAs are determined by a poll of music buyers, and as a result is more of a representative of public opinion.

We split up into two groups as Mark and Dale stood across the street from the sacred Red Carpet with banners flying high and Doug and myself stood with sandwich signs on the main corner when every limo needed to drive by to get to the Red Carpet. It was a regular night in downtown Los Angeles, the sidewalks had bodies everywhere, traffic was jammed and black limos were all over. Perfect for street preaching, as we reminded everyone if you love music, READ PSALMS. I did not watch the show, but I believe that those who won that golden calf, never gave GOD glory for giving them those lungs and voice.

Pray that God send others to harvest our labor ad these people Repent from their muSICK-dolatry.

Tuesday night ‘Katy Perry’ had a concert at Staples Center, so after work I drove my work van and changed inside my van and preached that concert outside. Brother Doug and I stood outside the venue as thousands of kids stood in line waiting to get in. It was like shooting fish in a barrel as the line moved slowly, as they had to pass by Doug and his banner, then stand by me and my banner. They heard a salty message and can not plead ignorance on Judgment Day.

I had one young girl argue that she believes in evolution, then said she never heard of any big bang or as she said “What >&^%#@$ BIG BANG!!?? You stupid )&6%#$#@?< jerk” another person in line, a lesbian wanted to argue with me but was rebuked by a person that just happen to be waiting to cross the street, she jumped into the conversation and defended my preaching. It was another busy night in downtown Los Angeles as the sidewalk had bodies everywhere. At times the crowd was vocal, shouting in favor of fornication, no God and sodomy as all was noted in heaven. Preaching in public does have a way of making people manifest.

“The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil” John 7:7

Here is a testimony from Brother Doug, aka ‘Bible Doug’ and new guy that has joined our ranks and is willing to not be ashamed of Jesus in public. He took to open air preaching like a duck to water. Without further ado……..

“My name is Doug M. and I have been born again since the winter of 1978. After 33 years of being involved in various Bible studies, men's groups, youth work, church administration, food ministries, bands and outreaches, I now feel like I have now really found something that I can do and I should have been doing all along.... and that is to OPEN AIR PREACH the Gospel. Brother Rueben Israel, Jesse Morrell, Kerrigan Skelly and their friends, who are also friends of God, by the way.... are helping me to learn the ropes of this type of preaching to the general public at all sorts of venues. I refuse to sit on a church pew any longer and call myself a Christian and then, for the most part, to sit inside the four walls of a church building or property and in effect, really do nothing, but just fellowship with other believers. Friends, Jesus commanded us all as His disciples to GO OUT to all nations of the world. We can at the very least go out here in our own country which is rapidly sinking down the tubes. I believe it will do so fast if we don't have revival in our land.

II Chron. 7:14 says... If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

All things are possible with God! Our churches CAN wake up and they have the ability to obey God to GO OUT. Jesus would not have commanded it if it were no possible. I was reluctant at first to preach myself when I went out with these people, but just this last Sunday night, in the pouring rain, I jumped into it, just like a child jumping off the high dive diving board at a swimming pool for the first time! I put on a sandwich board sign with a Scripture from John 3:7 - ".... you must be born again." and Rom. 6:23 on the other side - "The wages of sin is death...." I stood on a street corner in front of throngs of people going to the American Music Awards and prayed for a few minutes... and then, then for the first time, really.... I opened my mouth and shouted out the Gospel in a manner like I would envision John the Baptist to have. I said it to EVERYONE who passed by. I even said that if John the Baptist was alive now, he would have been out doing what we were doing that night. We preached everywhere that all humanity needs to repent and follow the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I preached for them to be ready.... they could die tonight and even at this very moment. I told them all religions are not the same... only Christ died for the sins of man. I told them the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. I told that God hates all sin. I told them many other things too.... the words just flowed....

The hard part was getting started, but once I started... the Holy Spirit took over, even to the point that I was crying while I was preaching and people were listening. I saw GROWN MEN even wiping the tears from their eyes themselves, friends! I had several Christians come up to me and encourage me and they said they wished they could do what I was doing and I told them..... in a loving yet EMPHATIC voice that they COULD AND SHOULD. YES, THEY ALL PEOPLE CAN AT LEAST GIVE OUT TRACTS TO FOLKS. TO ME, NOW... THAT IS THE BARE MINIMUM.

Friends, you can open air preach too. YOU can do it! I ENCOURAGE you to consider seriously obeying the Lord and to begin to SHOUT THE GOSPEL FROM EVEN THE MOUNTAIN TOPS because and only because you LOVE HIM and YOU LOVE PEOPLE... We SHOULD BE LIKE OUR LORD AND WE SHOULD NOT BE WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH. GET UP OFF THE COUCH! GET OUT OF BED.... BOTH LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY... IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY ... OUR REASONABLE SERVICE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL. WITHOUT A PREACHER, HOW WILL THEY HEAR? THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR LAZINESS AND DISOBEDIENCE ANY MORE, FRIENDS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A GRADUATE OF BIBLE SCHOOL TO SHARE YOUR FAITH. JUST DO IT! JUST DO IT! I REPEAT.... JUST DO IT! AMEN.

I PREFER MY OFFENSIVE WAY…….

I once sat in on a 3 week class on how to evangelize and here are a few of my notes taken.

The emphasis was on appearance and because the minister was a Baptist, he advised that men should wear nice pants and a pressed white shirt with a tie.
He stressed that one must dress nice, shine your shoes, comb your hair.
He mentioned to brush your teeth & chew mints before you leave.
He encouraged door knocking and emphasized that we needed to always smile and always ask them if we can pray for them.
Never be judgmental and do not argue or debate with them and NEVER attack their religion.
Try to befriend them as they open the door, compliment their house, yard, flowers and invite them to Church on Sunday.
If asked to leave, apologize and go and do not leave any literature.
NEVER force your belief on anyone.
NEVER flash or wave your Bible.
Ask if you can share a Bible verse with them and always give positive verses.
Do not raise your voice nor point your finger.
If you wish to evangelize on the street try wearing a colored gospel bracelet, as it will strike up a conversation on the sidewalk.
Paint faces.
Give out Balloons.
Sing songs on the street, everyone loves music.
If you feel bold, pass out a tract and always say ‘Please’ and ‘Thank You.’
And if you can have a tract table, remember to bake cookies or have a candy dish and give away free water.
Always tell them ‘God loves them’ no matter who they are.

The word “REPENT” or “BORN AGAIN” was never mentioned, it was all appearance and God forbid IF you used words like “HELL” or “THE LAKE OF FIRE.”

Persecution was also taught, as if someone slammed a door on your face or you were chased by an angry dog and no one takes your tracts. In entire session we used no Biblical examples found to preach in public but were commissioned on good ideas and stories. For three weeks the room was filled with people that wanted to evangelize and after the three weeks, we met on a Saturday at the Churches parking lot, to go and do all that we were taught to do and there were only six people that showed up that day and one decided to stay back and pray.

THIS ‘OCCUPY WALL STREET’ PROTESTS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN SPOILED LAW BREAKING COLLEGE STUNDENTS.

Maybe we the common folk should start ‘Occupy Wal-Mart’ and demand everything for free?

How long would we last if we set up tents in the Wal-Mart parking lot? This anti Wall Street is nothing more than a mosh pit for socialists and soon you will see other signs that are anti war, pro Prop 8, legalize marijuana and more, because they have no real goal.

Face it, these ‘Wall Street’ protesters have an anarchist spirit that hate authority of any kind. Government, police, military, school, parents, Church and even God Himself.

I have preached at events where this ilk will push and pull down your banners, demanding we leave, all while they stand under the umbrella of ‘peace.’ Which ‘Occupy Wall Street’ is as peaceful as the religion of Islam. If these protesters are moved by the police they cry like babies and play the ‘victim card’ as the homosexual have done with the media.

These protesters are the fruit from parents who never spanked their children or grew up with a one parent home and for lack of a better word, a life time college student. They most likely voted for Obama and think they can change the world as they feel invincible and they love to blanket themselves under free speech, however these same people would rip apart our banners, cut our megaphone cord and physically remove us.

The photos used below were taken from a newspaper article, as we preached to these rebels in a park where they squatted and the police had to protect us because the protesters did not like our First Amendment right and our right to freely assemble.

Every college generation thinks they will change the world with protests, sit ins, kiss ins and signing petitions and these students are no different. They really think, they are kin to those protesting the Viet Nam war in the 60’s or they are liken to those who fought for civil rights in the south. These people think themselves to be real patriots, but are nothing more than illegal squatters or rebels without a cause and if moved or arrested have a screaming fit like an out of control child.

They have NO leader?
They have NO real agenda?
They are NOT the ‘Tea Party’
They hate America.

HALLOWEEN IN WEST HOLLYWOOD

Last Halloween on Hollywood Blvd (2010) as Mark, Joel and I preached on the sidewalk, we were surrounded by LAPD because they said our preaching was stopping the flow on the sidewalk and that would be considered a hazard, my banner I used had only two words; ‘Trust Jesus.’ I was handcuffed and placed into the patrol car. I was later removed from the vehicle, where I told the arresting officer that my wallet was in my right pocket but I was told that was not needed. I was uncuffed and released and asked to leave Hollywood Blvd. So with all the devils and zombies walking around that wicked night, we were the problem. The photo below was taken from a weekly blog in Hollywood that snapped the moment I was getting detained.

“And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved”

This year however, we preached in West Hollywood, as West Hollywood is billed as the largest Halloween party in the world, with some 400,000 creatures walking around in costume. I have not preached that event for a number of years. The last time I was there alone and had angry witches chant and dance around me and tried to light my banner on fire as sodomites and drunks mocked Jesus. West Hollywood is the Sodom of Los Angeles. Santa Monica Boulevard was shut down as this night event was not a place to take children or animals according to the cities website and local news. There are more costumes than Fat Tuesday on Bourbon Street and it can be more wicked than Fantasy Fest in Key West as one can read John 3:19 very literal.

We stood back to back surrounded by zombies as death seemed to be the norm. The police stood by watching us and moved in only to break up angry sodomites that wanted to know why I hated homosexuals and for the record our banners read nothing of sodomy but these people have a large clip on their shoulder.

At the end of the event many saw the banners, heard preaching and 1000’s of photos were taken and sent over the internet as many people asked if we were for real and if that was our costume.

“PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD”

So many people will purchase auto insurance in the event of an accident or acquire heath insurance, as you know one trip to the hospital could cost you your home and who does not consider life insurance for your loved ones. Thee are celebrities that will insure certain body parts like their hair, legs, lips, etc. All these are preparation for the future and considered wise decisions however how many prepare to meet God and are their premium is paid.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”
Hebrews 9:27

I remember debating atheists on a particular campus who would if we are appointed once to die, how do you explain people that have died and were resuscitated and most atheists know their Bible and will ask about those who were raised from the dead by Jesus, they died twice.
Good question, however if we look at that Hebrews verse there is a word “APPOINTED” that does not seem to get much attention. My response, “It was not their appointed time.”

We have all been to funerals, as these are sobering times, with everyone wondering they could be next. Meeting God takes preparation, one can understand this by understanding that this God is a holy God and demands such by to be in His kingdom.

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away”
James 4:14

James writes that our lives are like a vapor or a puff of smoke from a cigarette. How long does that last…..seconds and then it is gone. Our lives compared to eternity is spray of smoke. There will be those who have lived to be 90 years old and exchange those 90 years for eternal hellfire.
In the end it will be a very unwise decision and you can bank that death will happen.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

It was a cool night on October 22nd 1979 where I was alone in my bedroom and there before God, I cried out for salvation on my knees. No one led me in a ‘sinners prayer’….I was not moved by worship songs on the radio….I had not just watched a TV evangelist…..I was not at an revival meeting…..nor read a book…..it was not because I was addicted to drugs and alcohol and needed to be set free…..it was not because I did not want to go to hell. I was out of high school for about a year and understood all I knew was about God and that night I prayed to God. The next day I went to a Christian book store and purchased a KJV Bible and began study it.

My testimony is not very Hollywood, as I never seen the face of Jesus, never heard voices, the lights in my room did not dim, not even an angel appeared to me. Many people assume I was a ex-biker, drug addict or done something really bad to do what I do today, but nothing is further from the truth. I simply sought the mercy of God for my life as a youth and it was granted.

About two months later, I had questions on things I knew in the Catholic faith and what I was now reading, so I made a appointment with my local priest to discuss these matters. Now this was the same Church we grew up in, when to school at for years, until my father could not afford 5 children at this school, then we went to public school.

The meeting lasted about 15 minutes with the priest telling me that he was the one schooled not me and that I should not read that Bible as it will only confuse me. Before he walked out from the meeting, I was told to come to mass on Sunday and keep the holy traditions. I agreed, that I would be there on Sunday and grabbed my notes and Bible as the meeting was over.
I went to mass that following Sunday, however I was outside on the sidewalk with my Bible raised preaching to those going into Church. I knew these people by name, they were my neighbors, my school mates, friends, why even my mother was inside. My message was do you know the God of the Bible. That same message I’ve been preaching for over 30 years in public from coast to coast. And I must say, that one day in front of my old Church on Sunday killed my flesh more than any other preach I’ve ever done since.

By early 1980 I was preaching all over my hometown and Los Angeles. We were having Bible studies at work and hanging Christian signs on street poles at night and decades later not much has changed. As I look back on my youth, I thank God I took advantage of my youth and did not waste it on sin. I credit my parents for being my stepping stone and instilling character in me.

Harold Camping is back in the news and says this time the end of the world is definitely Oct. 21.
The false prophet of Family Radio who wrongly predicted doomsday back in May, says the real end of the world is now Oct. 21. In a message on his Web site, Camping declares that next Friday is the day as he said, “at this point, looks like it will be the... final end of everything.”

With mud still on is face, Camping explains his May prediction mistake in another post on his site, as the May 21 was the “spiritual” End of the World, but the October date is the physical judgment. He said all those earthquakes he predicted, well……they apparently came in the form of “man-quakes,” since mankind shook with fear from the Rapture and the book of Genesis describes man as made from dirt. Why yes, why didn’t I see that back in May, how foolish of me and to think I had called him a false prophet.

Those who weren’t saved on May 21, Camping says, “will be annihilated together with the whole physical world on October 21, 2011.” But Camping says that he isn’t making any big promises this time…..oh really? “I really am beginning to think as I restudied these matters that there’s going to be no big display of any kind,” he said in an audio address after suffering a stroke in June as a judgment of God for taking His name in vain no doubt. “The end is going to come very, very quietly”…..yeah sure Harold, so quiet that it will not happen, so I am making plans to rearrange my sock draw on October 22.

I must report that from the sidewalks around America his followers are not out there promoting this new date as they were back in May with signs and tracts. Me thinketh the atheist groups gained membership since May 22nd 2011.

Well October 22nd has come and gone, with calls to the ministry in Oakland went to voicemail and were unreturned. Several followers who were contacted also declined comment. Camping's daughter Susan Espinoza wrote in response to an email request about Friday's doomsday scenario. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we at Family Radio have been directed to not talk to the media or the press,"

Camping, who suffered a mild stroke three weeks after his prediction in May failed to materialize continues his rapture date via his Family Radio International website. On the website it reads:
"Thus we can be sure that the whole world, with the exception of those who are presently saved (the elect), are under the judgment of God, and will be annihilated together with the whole physical world on Oct. 21," and by the way, God's judgment and salvation were completed on May 21, Camping says in a message explaining the mix-up in his biblical math.

Camping, a retired civil engineer, also prophesied the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said later that didn't happen because of a mathematical error, and May 21 never came due to a mathematical error and now October 21 has come and gone….and what another mathematical error?

I am a lone Christian [without] fellowship - estranged from my one time brethren and congregation - I do not believe in denomination per se [now being both ex-Catholic and an ex-Baptist] and I appreciate your stance on home church after being through what I have with my former one.
The Lord has made me free from diverse and excessive sin [ born again 21st June 2000]. And I was baptised by a Baptist Minster and attended church for 8 years which ended quite dramatically when we differed at length in doctrine.
Since then, I witness to my lost family and by post to people at random, and to Government members, state bodies, newspapers and radio stations.
I had a letter printed in a National newspaper, when I wrote correcting a “journalist’s” claim that the Queen of England had the copyright and royalties to the Holy Bible.
God also gave me the strength to admonish 100/ 150/ 200 self righteous and fascist Palestinian supports in a rally against Israel, in the streets of Cork city.
I have challenged my ex- Pastor periodically and extensively to prove - 1st Thess. 5:21, his doctrine and/or stance, to no prevail. This has soured my relationship with nigh on all of my old congregation.
I’d like to ask, I think I heard you to say you are a Protestant [Am I right?] are ye of a denomination and does the LORD add to your [church?] or do preach in order to get sinners saved?
Regardless of your answer, I do believe in your ministry, as the Scriptures say God’s word will not return to him void [Isaiah 55:11] and the great Commission is evident from Matthew 28 :19,20.
And I hope come the day you and those who serve like you will receive the fullest reward. If I may, I wish you would look at sinners without your sunglasses - most everyone would acknowledge eye contact is so very important.
Again, because for first hand experience, I pray that I can join up with a ministry -{such as yours [it is evident the Holy Spirit is with ye rather than some evangelism I’ve seen this side of the Atlantic]}- and this would influence a friend from my old church to come with me [ that is, in Ireland and without separating him from his brethren].
I believe it would be otherwise unfruitful and counter productive to go preaching or witnessing alone - Mark 6:7 convicts me of this, would you agree or is this is a cop out?
As the Lord tarries I long to redress people who are duped and blinded by Satan.

I live in Australia, and like you I was put off by hypocritical catholic and anglican church, but instead of going to Baptist Church or something like that I ended up Orthodox. I know you probably think we are pharisees, but we also preach a message of repentance and daily we pray Lord have mercy on me. Unlike the Catholics, we are taught to live the Bible in a special way. We also believe that we are saved by grace through faith, and that it is God's grace that saves us. You would find that we have much in common, espescially teaching on ethics. We have a record of one of the lowest institutional cases of abuse, because our ministers must be married and we live a strict life.
People need to hear the truth and I like that you tell the truth in your unique way. My family are Bible believing Christians and I wish our nation wasn't as secular as it is.

I was wondering if you can be forced to leave a conference that you paid to attend at the Opryland Hotel if they don't like what your T-shirt says? My T-shirt says that this organization is "a sham and a shame". I will not be approaching anyone at the conference but I'm sure that attendees and staff will be asking me about what my shirt says. And when they do, I'm going to tell them the truth how this organization is deceiving people. I saw nothing on their website that prohibits me from wearing a shirt that says something against their organization.

Hey brother, I have been through so much confusion lately and God has led me to your videos again and I felt the urge to confess my backslidden state where I stopped fasting like crazy for God and praying like crazy and reading the bible like crazy and focused more on worldy things and basically I think that the way my heart was made is that I'm usually cold or hot, rarely every lukewarm, so I went overboard one day and just started working out like crazy and took some kind of pre-work out supplement that really raised my sex drive and then started overeating after my work out and then jack** o** to porn and now God is letting me know that I need to start fasting and praying way more like i used to when i first got saved and I just ask you bro to please pray for me because the days are getting closer to the end and the pressure of temptations are much stronger, Thank you and God bless.

Ruben, you may not remember me, but I remember sitting across the table from you at Jed's Street Preaching conference. Ever since then, I have had the highest respect for you and your heart in what you do. Your line of work requires you to draw hard lines so that you may have an answer. I tell you now though, there will be Catholics in heaven. The same as there will be calvinists and moral government theologians. I'm not saying that the RCC has much going for it in the way of how a church should be ran, but then again, most street preachers don't either. Most are not part of a fellowship of believers in the way the Bible would exhort them to be. They are the hand without the eye, the foot without the rest of the body. But would I lump all Street Preachers into the same category because the majority miss out on the beauty of the gospel? No.

NEVER TRUST A CROWD!

As Open Air Preachers we should be able to gather and maintain a crowd. Those crowds come to listen or ask questions, BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER NEVER TRUST A CROWD. Remember the same crowd that cried, saying “Hosanna to the Son of David, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest” was the same crowd that shouted “free Barabbas crucify Jesus” the following day.

One might get a crowd to gather, or have that laugh at something said, then get that same group angry and within time even argue with themselves or turn on you, all within 2.5 seconds.

Rule 1: trust a crowd as far a you can toss them.

We find multitudes in the Bible that sat and listen to preaching, others that debated or turned on each other, some wanted to kill the preacher, or the crowd turned into a mob which caused chaos and confusion in a city and even had the soldiers come in to settle everyone down.

One thing you should be aware of is you will most likely be hated with crowds if you follow the Biblical instruction:
“They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly”
If you have no REBUKE and TRUTH in your message you will never be hated by a crowd.

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men”

We live in a society where ‘salt’ is considered unhealthy as in our Christian faith when proclaimed in public. The main purpose for “SALT” is to preserve and we as believers must safeguard the standard of a holy God in this wicked theater we live in. We must not lose the flavor even if many trampled underfoot and consider it worthless.

Salt can be used for a number of things or can be symbolic for us the believer:
SALT can be to preserve, tempering of steel, used in fertilizers and weed killers. For the Body God created; salt is most effective in stabilizing irregular heartbeats and, Contrary to the misconception that it causes high blood pressure, it is actually essential for the regulation of blood pressure. Salt is vital to the extraction of excess acidity from the cells in the body, particularly the brain cells. Crucial for balancing the sugar levels in the blood; a needed element in diabetics. Essential for the generation of hydroelectric energy in cells in the body. It is used for local power generation at the sites of energy need by the cells. Needed for the nerve cells' and information processing all the time that the brain cells work, from the moment of conception to death. Too little salt in the diet can lead to muscle cramps, dizziness, or electrolyte disturbance.
Did I miss anything that ‘salt can be used for?

The Old Testament mentions ‘salt’ thirty-five times and New Testament we find the word ‘salt’ in six verses. Has the Church you’ve attended preserve the Word of God?

"let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt"

SALT LAKE CITY

This past weekend the Mormons had their 181st general conference held every April and October, where those in that faith come to hear from their quorum and their president/prophet. This can be likened to Muslims making their pilgrimage to Mecca, just to be by the temple of Salt Lake and near the home of Brigham Young. Members gather in a series of two-hour sessions to listen to instruction from Church leaders as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sets the mood inside the auditorium.

The conferences have been held in Salt Lake City, Utah since 1848 with the exception of the April 1877 conference which was held in St. George, Utah, it is broadcasted to 83 countries transmitting to over 5700 church facilities and airing over 18 television and 1700 cable stations. Volunteers translate the sermons into over 80 languages live during the simulcast and last year for the first time via Youtube sermons in their entirety are posted.

I flew into Salt Lake City and was picked up by two active Mormons, who drove me to a home of a Mormon where I stayed that whole weekend, knowing I would be preaching against his church. I was loaned a vehicle to drive from a Mormon, so I did not need to rent one as I drove the car donated to me to the Salt Lake City temple to openly preach against his church. I parked the car in a office parking lot over a mile away where a doctor who is an active high priest in Salt Lake City drives me from his parking lot to the curb of the LDS convention center where I preach at his church and where he gives me water to drink as I rebuke his church and when I am done, he will get his car a pick me up at the curb and chauffer me off. Sounds like a Hollywood script, but all true.

Over the years of preaching this event, there are those who I have met and are active in that church yet consider us a real judgment of God against their church for being lukewarm and they do not wish to stand in the way. These Mormons have a love hate relationship with their church, they do love their church but hate what it is today and this is where I fit in, because what I preach outside their sacred building they wish they could say, so they contribute.

It would be somewhat kin to John Wesley walking into your local Methodist Church today and hearing what is being preached from the pulpit or John Calvin walking into a Presbyterian service and seeing a homosexual priest at the altar. These active Mormons that aid me have concluded their church has altered one too many times.

Doctor John the LDS high priest has written over 36 books, writes for several newspapers and flies all over the world to do info-commercials. He has stood with me for years on that very sidewalk in Salt Lake as the weather in Salt Lake changes almost as much as the Mormon doctrine. John has stood behind me in the rain holding an umbrella over me to protect me from getting wet as I rebuked his church and warms me up with hot coffee and if the weather is hot, he gives me water to cool me down and keep my voice as I publicly rebuke his church. He knows that I have dragged his book of Mormon on the ground, waved their holy underwear and he also is used to argue on my behalf as to what the church believes. For example, the first time I went to Sale Lake I read books on the LDS and when I pointed out their doctrine, most Mormons denied it. If you gave them the actual address in their holy books they argued we take it out of context, however if one of their own expands on it, then the point is made. Not to mention, that the one agreeing with me is a high priest. I have seen many Mormon jaws hit the floor when John is called into my conversations and coincide with my points, then rebukes them for not knowing their history or doctrine. John will argue that blacks were considered a cursed people and not to be in the temple, that the Mormon gods are many and was once a sinful man, Jesus and satan are brothers and many other doctrines that most Mormons do not wish to convey.

John also joins us in June as we preached at the sodomite parade in Salt Lake City, as with the photo above (John in red cap and tie) standing next to me arguing against sin as he a doctor argued and reasoned that the anus is not for entry. He never promoted the LDS and even open aired that if those sodomites wanted to repent and get saved to see the street preachers. I know, a very odd couple, but pray for John, as he will not be convinced by pointing out Mormon theology with him. However he could get excommunicated for associating with me, as he takes a lot of heat from his own church for standing by me. He is even known among the Salt Lake City police has he lived with his brother and father and two years ago his father died at home. So when the police and corner came the office told him “you are the guy that always stands with that street preacher.”

My prayer is that John would be the Trojan horse that can be a cancer to that church.

If John ever comes out from that church, he would be a real thorn in their flesh as he as has a library worth millions of dollars with old books and info on that religion that is beyond dirt or bad doctrine and that would only happened if he were excommunicated. Now if that were the case I would be waiting with open arms.

Last Friday I arrived at Salt Lake airport and had a afternoon meeting just outside Salt Lake, with a producer that is doing a film with the LDS church and will be submitted it to the ‘2012 Sundance film Festival’ held in Utah every January. After dinner I was taken to a studio and shown clips of said film, then sat in a chair and questioned about my beliefs and issues with the Mormon church. The interview was over around 1AM as I was thanked or provoking them to the Bible and how the Mormons have a different Jesus.

The producer had been a Mormon all his life and told me that he has now understood the grace of God and sees clearly how his church promotes works that only praises the individual. We spoke for several hours as I answered questions and challenged them. The trailer for this film will soon be out and I will post it.

Saturday and Sunday had banners raised around the Temple and LDS convention center before the first session early in the morning, till after the last session was over. We stood in a variety of locations on the sidewalk and I’m sure the Lord used everyone with good conversations or planted a seed of doubt. I stood alone with John nearby as he was working on a novel and wanted to insert a street preacher into the story. So that weekend he took notes of what I preached to use for that novel and if I needed him I just waved at him and he would get involved in my conversations.

The last assembly on Saturday is for the priesthood and John is really angry with those given the title “elders” who know nothing about their faith. Every ‘elder’ I spoke with I asked if they knew the 10 Commandments in order. Not one could do it and those that tried would insert new ones like “thou shalt not judge” or “thou shalt be good,” and the “thou shalt read scripture.” Now remember these people are going out to evangelize the world? Jesus hit the nail on the head when he said to the religious of His day;

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves”

I’ve never seen so many ‘elders’ with acne on their face and ‘elders’ that never put a razor to their face.” This church has tainted the word ‘elder’ as the sodomites have the word ‘gay’.

I had a young Mormon gal come up and tell me that I show no respect for her religion with my banner and my preaching. I replied that she has no respect for God and she asked “how so?” I said the Bible tells us that there is one God, your book of Mormon teaches there is one God, yet your theology says there are many gods. She denied it, in fact she agreed that there is only one God and the LDS teaches no such doctrine of numerous gods. So I waved John from the bullpen and he identified himself as a Mormon and gave her several LDS teachings on many gods and she looked as if John punched her in the gut, I thought she was going to cry. She walked away very confused.

Another said that I disrespected his church by waving their under garments, I replied that he was the one that had disrespected his church because if those garments were indeed inspired, the original under garments were from the neck, to the wrists, to the ankles. Compared to what they wear today, it was them who has shredded and disrespected their garments, not me. I pointed out that their inspired temple ceremonies back in the day was about 7 hours long, compared to today where it is about one and a half hours. If it is so inspired why chop it up as your garments, again I argued it is them who disrespects their own religion as John loudly agreed.

I had a Mormon tell me the reason he is not a Christian is because there are so many denominations that disagree with each other and that was confusion, which is not of God. He prided himself on his LDS church as to its unity, so I called John and within minutes they were both arguing with each other over changes made within the church, as I politely said “this is why I am not a Mormon, you people can not agree with each other and that is confusion, which is not of God.” He walked off more upset with John than me. That statement is used often by Mormons to prove that they are the real deal and often my response is that there is a reason for all the friction within Christianity. The devil needs to divide it because it is true, unlike the LDS church which he already has. But there are also many splinter groups of Mormons with their own prophets and their own temple and their own doctrines and all claim to have the bloodline to Joseph Smith. So they are not one big Osmond family, but more like the Adams family.

MORMONS CAN BE SEEN SLEEP WALKING AROUND TEMPLE SQUARE WITH THAT CULT SMILE

Because the weather was warm that weekend John made sure I had water to drink every 20 minutes and he was a hated-man for that and defending my points. This would be kin to an ex-Muslim preaching against Islam. If looks could kill or if the Danites were around, old John would have been murdered that day by his own.

Another asked me “How can your religion believe in the trinity, how can three be one?” Well there are verses in the Bible that can be used regarding the Godhead but I discerned that she did not have much Bible knowledge so I asked her a simple question. “Are you married?” she replied that she was, so I asked “How many flesh are you? The Bible says the two shall be how many?” She said “ONE” to which I asked again “How many did you say can be ONE?.....did I hear you say that two can be ONE…..are you sure….did you go to the same math teacher that I went to…..two can be ONE? If you can get ONE from two why can’t three be ONE, unless you have a problem with odd numbers?” She said, ‘thank you for your time’ and walked off.

One young man came out from one of the sessions and could not take it anymore, we spoke for over an hour. He agreed that the LDS church was prideful and have gone beyond the Bible but was looking to marry a Mormon girl and has been pressured by her mother to join the church. He just thought it was another Church that believed in the Bible and loved Jesus but after hearing from the prophet he wanted no part of that faith. I gave him ammo to use from both the Bible and their own writings as he will soon be on a campaign to work with that family or leave it.

I did not limit my preaching against the Mormon church but pointed out sin in the camp, such as fornication, adultery, porno, drinking and such. As many of these Mormon girls look like they were going to a night club rather than a place of worship. I preached that in a few more years the Mormon girls will be coming to conference in a G-string and I asked if they had any modesty in their closets? Some of the older Mormons actually thanked me for rebuking the LDS women for dressing like whores. I asked why an outsider is needed to admonish the flock and not the elders or their prophet nor the older women?

I noticed something odd out there, that 2 out of 10 Mormons carried a Bible with them to the religious service…..maybe because there is not much Bible reading inside?

The stories are endless with several priceless as at the end of the day we led all Mormons that attended the General Convention to the Jesus of the Bible by our open air preaching, I now pray that the Father send more laborers to reap our harvest.

“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few”

STREET PREACHING IN SOUTH AFRICA

Greetings Brother Ruben!

You might be wondering how we are doing … as you haven’t heard from me for a long time, but I just want to let you know that we are still doing well over here in South Africa! We are still doing the work of the LORD!

About 2 weeks ago we’ve preached at Stellenbosch University… as I began to set up my banner at 8:30 a male-student walked up to me and said: “Long time no see!” I said: “Yes, a lot happened since I was here last time … I got married in the meantime!” “Hey, congratulations!” he replied. He continued: “Even though I do not agree with everything you do or say I’m really glad that you are here as you are part of the campus-culture! Every campus should have a campus-preacher!” He wished me good luck for the day and went away.

This past Saturday, we’ve preached at the Whale Festival in Hermanus. We were given much freedom by the LORD to preach our lungs out…

I’ve preached the most of all the guys on Saturday. I’ve told bro Ivan that if he wants to get a chance to preach then he must tap me on my shoulder when he wants to get a turn to preach as I’m going to take over if he doesn’t do that! He said: “That’s OK, brother! Preach it, bro, preach it!” As you can see from the pics, I’ve enjoyed myself immensely. Street Preaching is in my blood. I feel like preaching 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! I almost envy you guys in Southern California where you have an event/festival going on almost every day of the week! But, the LORD placed me here in Cape Town, South Africa so I’m doing the best I can with what I have.

WEEKEND WITH ALAH

Saturday after work I drove to Garden Grove to preach at an Arab Muslim event and I raised my anti Muslim/pro Jesus banner at the main entrance. Within minutes a few Christians that were passing out tracts fled the sidewalk and moved across the street. I began to preach that these people do not believe in Jesus as the SON OF GOD and within a few more minutes the large speaker pointed directly at us playing Muslim music shorted out.

Within a few more minutes I was surrounded by police and I was informed that my banner was very provocative and they were concerned it might cause an issue. My banner reads that Mohammad was a liar and child molester, it was their history and a fact. This was not Dearborn as the police understood our rights and never hindered our message, our banners and our location.

Angela and I were joined by a guy holding a cross and he often stood in front of us as the angry Muslims were screaming and pointing their finger and a few shoes at us. They were coming out from the event to see the sign and countless pictures were taken and sent via internet to the Middle East. We hammered on John 3:16 and pointed out “Only Begotten Son” as I even had one Arab read the verse from my Bible and say “I never read that before.” Brother Mark arrived and raised his banner as he preached this event the night before.

"That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him”

We were threatened from every position as one Muslim said “You will not leave here walking” another told me that he saw me at Dearborn and we will get chased out as in Dearborn. Police were everywhere, from undercover to uniformed police, officers on horses and bikes watching everything. If there was one hot spot in the entire city of Garden Grove it was there at the main entrance to that event where we stood. When evening came things were ready to get physical and the police moved in holding their clubs in front of us to keep the angry Muslims at bay.

For hours they claimed to know Jesus but rejected Him as the Son of God and we pounded that was the condition to salvation. One must believe that He is the ONLY BEGOTEN. They hated our preaching, they hated my sign and they even hated my “INFIDEL PRIDE” shirt. I guess some days you just can’t please anyone.

We were told by many believers passing out tracts our method of preaching is wrong and all had issues with my banner, but no one was really around them it was us and our preaching that they responded to. One young man quoted me Matthew 6:5 regarding my preaching but that verse is for praying in public not preaching in public.

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward”

Funny thing was after I gave him no attention for taking the verse out of context, what did he do…..start praying for me right there on the street. He was guilty of the very verse given to me.
AS we were debating we would get a tap on the shoulder from believers who would say “I feel…..I think…..I believe….I wonder” not one verse maybe I need to check with them before I go out and show them the banner for approval and get Q-cards so I know what to preach?

THIS WOMAN CLAIMED TO BE A CHRISTIAN AND HAD ISSUES WITH MY SIGN, SHE TOLD EVERYONE TO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE AND WALK AWAY, HOWEVER SHE COULD NOT AS SHE STAYED AND ARGUED.

There were Christians passing out tracts, booklets and Bibles, others playing music or just holding a sign and a Church right across the street giving out free water to the Muslims….and then….there was us. No doubt the Father gave these people every opportunity to know the gospel.

THIS EX MUSLIM PREACHED WITH FIRE, LOVED OUR SIGNS AND REBUKED THE HATEFUL RELIGION WITHOUT FEAR.

As we walked away the crowd roared at our exodus and police walked us towards my car which was in a Methodist parking lot, then officers on horses followed behind as officers on bikes watched us drive off for our safety because this religion of peace is known for its violence.

Sunday we went back to the Muslin event and as we drove by the main entrance as it was empty, quite and very calm until we parked my vehicle and walked to that location. Within a few minutes I was surrounded by angry Muslims with their fists in the air, they made signs the night before to block my banner and soon the main entrance had Garden Grove police standing around with batons in hand. We had kicked a hornet’s nest and the angry hornets were buzzing everywhere but all they could do was try to drown us out and cover our signs. Not because they we were peaceful but they were in America.

One angry Muslim openly stated that he hated Jews and told me that if we were in his country he would chop me up into little pieces and by his eyes I believed him, not to mention he reminded me a few times. They chanted themselves into a wild frenzy in their native tongue and waving flags around us shouting ‘We love the USA’….so I asked them “why are they not flying an American flag?’

What really added fuel to the fire was we had X-Muslims stand with us and preached against Islam and there is nothing like hearing two Middle Easterners argue in their language with spit shooting out like a shotgun. It was a blessing to have these Christians, young and old contend for the faith as per Jude 1:3 and they were not offended in my banner or our preaching. These saints not only argued that Jesus was the Son of God but supported us against Christians that considered our approach too forward.

TRYING TO BLOCK MY SIGN, DROWNING OUT MY PREACHING AND BLOWING HORNS IN MY EARS AS SOMETHING TELLS ME WHEN ISLAM RULES, THERE WILL BE NO FREE SPEECH.

One young believer told me that he had a booth inside the park to give away free booklets and he heard all the commotion outside and walked out to ask me that due to all the confusion around me that it was confirmation that we were not preaching the true gospel. He told me that ‘God is not the author of confusion’ and so I asked him one question.
Who caused the confusion at the tower of Babel and eventually he said “God.”

God is not the author of confusion, however He can use confusion as He did with Babel. But the author was satan back in the garden with Eve and don’t for one second consider all confusion to be demonic. Genesis chapter 11 we read where the whole earth had one language and for names sake they built a tower where the top might reach heaven. God saw this and confound their language, that they may not understand each other and stop building. God did this, not satan, not demons, not mankind, BUT GOD. He used confusion but He is not the author, see how that works?

“Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth”
Gen.11:9

Funny how people will judge your preaching to be inspired based on the reaction of the crowd, if that is the case they would have had issues with Paul.

In Acts 16 we find Paul and Silas preaching in Thyatira and after causing a stir in that city, they were brought to the city magistrates because they did ‘exceedingly trouble our city.’ So Thyatira was fine living in sin with each other, as everyone was living in peace and harmony, until those guys came to town.

In Acts 19 we read where Paul made ‘no small stir about that way’ as he persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they be no gods that are made with human hands, well the city folks were filled with wrath, and in a ‘great uproar’ they cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And the very next verse says:
“And the whole city was filled with confusion”
Confusion was the fruit of Paul’s preaching in that city.

Acts 21 again we find Paul causing a problem “that all Jerusalem was in an uproar” as Paul did not bring peace but ‘tumult’ to that city.

“And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Bethhoron, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah”
Joshua 10:10

God is not the author of confusion, however He can use confusion.

THIS GUY TOLD ME I SHOULD BE HAPPY I LIVE IN AMERICA, BECAUSE I SHOULD BE DEAD. HE WAS ALSO THE ONE THAT SAID THAT HE HATES JEWS AND HE SEEMED TO GET VERY ANGRY WHEN I ASKED IF HE HAD A PILOT LICENSE.

Tuesday night after work we preached a Duran Duran concert in downtown Los Angeles and it was difficult to reach those going into the auditorium because they were filming a program and down the street making a movie. This is a Tuesday night in Los Angeles, so barricades were everywhere and after an altercation with the event security we were able to stand as close as we could with banners raised. This was another concert I had preached at a few times in the 1980’s and these same followers were on drugs as they were in the 80’s only this time these poor souls are on prescription drugs and if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it one thousands times, these old white folks can not and should not dance in public. There should be a law against this, as what would possess an 55 (plus ) year old woman to think she can cut the rug?

We preached and had good conversations as this was nothing compared to the angry Muslims just two days ago as not every open air event is a Mardi Gras. Next time Duran Duran comes to town I will just meet these people at the handicap parking lot.

I am off to Salt Lake City to preach outside the Mormon convention and give reasons why a Mormon will not be allowed in heaven. I do appreciate your constant prayers for us as we travel and will preach at the doorstep of the LDS church and knock real loud. I will post out a report from your air support in Utah when I return home.

WATER COOLER CHAT

IS IT JUST ME OR ARE YOU TOO PLEASED THAT ALABAMA EXECUTED THE THIRD CRIMINAL JUST LAST WEEK ALONE.

Derrick O'Neal Mason, 37 was convicted of the 1994 execution-style shooting of a store clerk in Alabama was put to death on Thursday by lethal injection in the third U.S. execution carried out this week. GOD LOVE THE STATE OF ALABAMA!
This guy is not a victim as he spent 16 years on death row for the murder of a 25-year-old gal named Angela Cagle during the attempted robbery of a convenience store in Huntsville, Alabama. Authorities said he forced Cagle to strip naked and shot her twice in the face at close range and with that we are to feel sorry for him. Mason is only the fifth inmate executed in Alabama this year, and the 36th in the United States in 2011. I say 1 per week each state except Florida and Texas they get to execute at least 3 a week. Romans 13 clearly reads it is the job of the government and not the Church as they have been tried and retried and sentence to death. The WAGE of their SIN IS DEATH.

“For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil”

The execution in Alabama was followed by two high-profile lethal injections this week one in Georgia and the other in Texas. In a case that drew international attention, Troy Davis was put to death in Georgia on Wednesday for the murder of a police officer despite claims by his advocates that he may have been innocent now trust me they all say that. Also on Wednesday, Texas executed a white supremacist convicted of helping to kill a black man by dragging him behind a truck, a case that sparked a wave of hate crime laws. Good job Gov. Rick Perry, I like him more and more.
I’ve preached at executions in California at San Quentin several times and there you will find many outside the prison hoping that the murderer will be pardoned as they sing songs, pray the rosary and have little candle light vigils….that is until we show up with our “The Wages of SIN IS DEATH” signs and then we relive the Bible as the angry mob shouts crucify these guys and release us Barabbas. Yes those that oppose the death penalty are willing to put anyone that is not goose stepping with them to death and let me be the first to tell you first hand that hot wax from those candles can burn you. I’ve also preached in favor of executions in Ohio and Florida.

It is not the downtrodden and minority that get the death penalty as this picture was taken as I preached in front of a prison in Florida in favor of a once anti abortion preacher that murdered a abortion doctor, murdered his security guard and shot the guards wife in the head, she however lived. He believed God told him to do this.

This is my execution banner, I can remove the name ‘Paul Hill’ and replace it with any name. Hill and his followers believe it is Christianity to kill abortion doctors and bomb abortion clinics. I believe otherwise and preached in favor of Florida to execute him as became nothing more than what he preached against, Paul Hill was a murderer.

We would grumble if we had a judge that would sentence a criminal to 59 years and replace him in 2 or sentence someone to life but decide to let him out after a few years, so when he people have been though the court system, appeals and deemed worthy of death, it must be done and everyone I’ve preached at has something in common. He was innocent, he was framed, he never had a fair trial, the government wanted him death, he is the victim.

It is at events like these where I preach to Jesse Jackson who is playing the race card if the murderer was black or certain liberal celebrities that demand the prisoner be set free.

Do we not want justice, are these same people going to complain to God when He tosses people into eternal fire?

JESUS SPOKE MORE ON HELLFIRE THAN ANY OTHER SUBJECT, INCLUDING LOVE AND GRACE:

To hammer that point He used words like everlasting fire, eternal torment, outer darkness, judgment, weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, fire, damnation, furnace of fire, where the worm dieth not, everlasting fire, everlasting punishment, eternal damnation, unquenchable fire, damnation of hell and torments and such.

Now I have never seen hell, I never had a vision of hell nor have I had a chance to visit this place of torment this side of earth, as my only reference is found in the Bible. But I have read books where people have gone there and I have heard sermons from people who have been there. One can even find testimonies on youtube of those who have witnessed such with a near death experience.

However I question these visions and dreams of people that went to hell, with reason.

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world”

First off, I must say some of these people who had these visions or dreams of sinners burning in outer darkness are quite moving and could even bring the fear of God in a building. But there is A MAJOR FLAW, in these images we find demons tormenting sinners, demons poking sinners, even demons laughing at sinners as these poor souls are tormented.

Now IF this is true, this would then make this place a torment a Disneyland for demons because they get to taunt and torture sinners for eternity, but IF we use the Bible as the standard. We will find hellfire was created for the devil and his demons as a place of anguish for them and not to be a place to render pain to others. This hellfire is not a headquarters for satan where he has a desk and phone with maps around him as he plans the day. This hellfire is not a place where sinners get poked with a pitchfork by laughing demons, IT IS A PLACE OF TORMENT FOR ALL WHO GO.

Therefore I question these visitations.

If someone saw something truly from God, would not both demon and sinner be screaming, not one afflicting the other? No matter how moving the vision appears we should question the accuracy as nothing more than a Hollywood edition. Both will live in this place of to

THE SECOND DEATH

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death”

WHAT A VERSE……..the lake of fire is the last dump for those who rejected Jesus as the Christ and with this verse all hope is gone.
Image the worst pain you ever felt, be it a headache, toothache, broken bone, back problem, finger smashed. You can take medicine for the pain, go to the hospital for treatment, go to sleep and even hope that tomorrow will be better day. There are people that live in so much pain that they hope in death. Death is like a savor and the only way out from their pain, well this verse tells me that ‘death’ is cast into the lake of fire so even the very hope of death is now gone. Eternal fire and eternal torment are but to us mere words, but seeing your only anticipation of ‘death’ is now dumped into the lake that burns with fire. All hope is gone.

Do we really need a testimony from someone who went to hell for 5 minutes or can we just be moved by the inspired Word of God?

City to allow speech that may even 'annoy'

I would like to introduce Brother Johnny from Mississippi and his testimony from religion, repentance to reproving sin in the streets.

It was a blessings to have the opportunity to work with you Ruben.
I was raised in the Baptist church my dad was an alcoholic and like to party. So I thought it was ok to party and call your self a Christian. When I was a teen I asked the youth pastor if I was saved after being convicted of debauchery and he told me the sinner’s prayer and being baptized was all I had to do after repenting. So for 33 years I repented every Sunday. and after
being arrested 5 times for pot and doing 3 years in jail, I was able to sober up for the first time, and read my bible and ask God to have mercy on me and save me. After 3 yrs in jail and 1 year probation I smoked pot and felt like an idiot for the first time. I felt as if God were saying; Johnny how many more times do you think I will call you, how many more chances do you think you have? I asked myself how can I fear man and his laws and not fear God. So I took the weed I just purchased and waded it up in a burger king cup and drove down the highway and tossed it out the window. In 2010 I met a street preacher and he asked me to go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras to preach with his group of 7. I had to work and told him I could not go but during that time it started snowing and my boss called and said my work was canceled. So I called Kendall and asked if he was still going to Mardi Gras and he said yes, I then asked if I could go and he said yes. So 2010 was my first time to go to Mardi Gras as a saint after about 26 as a heathen. I was ok till we got out of the car and started loading up a small amp, lots of tracts, gospel CD’s and this sandwich boards. I looked at the sandwich board and though to myself, no way I’m going to put that thing on, you have got to be crazy to put that on in public. However the next day I was ready to wear the sandwich board. I’m still growing in my faith, its amazing that I could have sat in the Baptist church so long and drank on milk thinking that was obedience. I'm thankful, after 13 near death experiences God allowed me to live and serve Him. He permitted me not to die and go to hell. God is love if we just submit, repent and obey. During that Mardi Gras in 2010 I saw crytogod ministries with their big banners and was impressed at Gods presents with them. I talked briefly with Preacher JK and Bible Brian, they gave me cards with links to youtube and I think that is the first time I saw Ruben Israel.

After New Orleans, I started working with Kendall on Thursday’s as he goes to jail to minister to the inmates and once a month to a nursing home and preaching at Wal-Mart parking lot Sunday after church. I believe God has called me to preach in public full time as after my time in jail (5/08) I worked12 hours a day, 6 days a week till October 2010. The Lord had me pay every thing I owe and save six grand in the bank. I have quit my job at a logging company and work full time for King Jesus. So far He has provided a way for me to minister with some part time work. I still have a lot to learn in fully trusting Him as I keep thinking I need a permanent job, but now He is that permanent job. I'm going to Voodoo festival Lord willing and that will mark a year of serving the king on 3 college campuses, jail ministry, Wal-Mart parking lot, abortion clinics and special events.
Ruben invited me to join him to preach another wicked event o Labor Day weekend, so I Googled ‘southern decadence’ two weeks before going and thought to myself, do I really want to go down to Bourbon Street like I saw Ruben marching there during Mardi Gras this year? I was scared, thinking someone could toss a potted plant or cast iron furniture on me and kill me. Then I remembered we served the most high God, to be absent of the body is to be present with the lord. I told myself for Pete sakes to remember Phil. 4:13. well the Lord had me do it and Sunday was the sodomite parade and we only had the skeleton crew. There was Ruben, Buddy, Doug, Larry, Thomas and myself. Every time we stood on a corner I kept on praying for God's Power, to protect us and to keep Thomas or myself from being pushed to the point of snapping and shove some one and maybe starting a fight, perhaps getting us all killed or a nice bed in ICU. The banner I was carrying read ‘Homo Sex Is Sin’ and sometimes I would raise it up a bit to see around me and every time I saw evil taunting me, I pulled it to cover my eyes and prayed over and over again. I was so nervous and tense and that the wind was blowing the large banner around that holding it was like trying to reel in a 75pound fish for hours. In between the gusts of wind, I prayed that God would deliver me from my enemies and renew my strength and keep me from losing the banner. Well He did. I give God all the honor and glory for getting me through it all, and look forward to doing it again.
