Operation Repent Mardi Gras

Another year of preaching at Mardi Gras in New Orleans as those sinners that come in are as unclean as the unclean food that city is known for.
We stood day and night in the middle of Bourbon Street with banners raised and words said that they will be accountable for hearing one day.
“I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation”
Psalm 40:10
The preaching was nonstop as per Ezekiel 2:7
“And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious”
“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right”
Isaiah 45:19
“Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice”
Micah 6:1
And that method of preaching provoked smaller conversations that were very fruitful as questions were answered and Bible verses clearly given.
“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times” Psalm 12:6
“The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple”
Psalm 18:30
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth”
John 17:17
Some believe that we should ‘just preach the gospel’ however 99.9% of those people walking by have heard if not believed that Jesus came, died on a cross and rose from the dead.
Case in point with the next picture, as this young man said he was a Christian. I asked him to turn his cap around so I could get closer to his face
I told him he knew right from wrong and I was an answer to someone’s prayer to get in his face for being there. He later said, his mother was praying for him and did not want him to go to New Orleans.
Had we just preached the gospel, he would have just walked by thinking he is fine with God.
We are told to PREACH THE WORD and that gives me license to cover many topics in those 66 books not just the gospel.
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine”
2 Timothy 4:2
AND of course our critics love to slander our manner of preaching, that we do more damage to the kingdom than good and NO ONE gets saved?
Well, these pictures are worth 1000 words.
Here was someone who tried to pull down our banners and I pushed him away, he later came back feeling convicted and knew he was not right with God. I am not a cheap date, if you wish to talk it may cost you and in the spirit of ‘fruit meet for repentance.’
I DEMAND their beads be removed, drinks poured out, cigarettes or drugs get dropped on the floor. Many ministries out there will pray for sinners, even with a drink in hand and tell them ‘Jesus loves them’ as all that did was strengthen the hand of the wicked.
But with our group demands ‘fruit meet for repentance’ and then I will pray for them, as with this young man who was convicted and wept in public, crying out to God.
He removed his beads, poured out his drink and after talking with me, he left Bourbon Street.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart”
Jeremiah 29:13
I rejoiced with the angels as this man found LIGHT in a dark street

Here is another person that just came out from prison and said ‘No one ever talked to him that way’
He said he was a very bad man and while weeping in public his friends tried to pull him away.
He grabbed my neck and refused to leave. He poured out his drink, removed the beads and repented. He stood around trying to talk to others and later left Bourbon Street.
“And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart”
Jeremiah 24:7
Need more?
Here is a young gal from Canada who came to party and she never saw preaching like this, she felt convicted and wept, even cried out to God.
I did NOT have to lead her into a prayer, she cried out herself. The friends that she came with left her as she wanted to stay with us and tried to reason with those who mocked us.
“The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes”
Psalm 19:8
This is an interesting set of pictures.
This person was from a Church in Ohio that I worked with, he had a lovely family, good business and active in his Church, I even stayed at his house while in Ohio.
Years ago he got involved in pornography and that sin cost him everything. So now he goes to Mardi Gras and who does the Lord have him bump into?
Like a needle in a haystack, God’s timing is perfect, so I pulled him away from the main street to spend time with him. First things first, the beer goes before we talk about God.
I spent about 15 minutes with him, with my hands on his shoulders, trying to shake sense into that mind and looking into his eyes.
No doubt the Lord was convicting him and as he stood without words.
After the beads were gone, the beer was dropped, the tears came, I knew he was convicted and he needed to reflect on his life.
He also walked off Bourbon Street wiping his tears knowing he sinned against God and destroyed his family.
Most preachers lack conviction in their words because they do not wish to be offensive, I say DO NOT offend God.
“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
Acts 2:37
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake”
1 Thessalonians 1:5
Even with all the sin and debauchery, sinners cannot help but listen and take pictures
Many have seen us on the news, documentaries or youtube and just wanted a photo
We not only raise the banners and preach but 100’s of tracts were given daily
Our congregation is like no other Church service, no dress code is required
And some times our congergation does not treat us very nice for loving them in truth as per 1John 3:18
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth”
This is not sweat rolling down my face, just a sinner who poured a drink on my head, over the decades I have had gallons of liquor and urine showered on me.  All while they call me a ‘hater’
Sin is only for a season and then you pay the price
This event has a religious residue to it, sin all you want and get ashes on your forehead
On Sunday and ‘ash Wednesday’ we preached outside the oldest cathedral in America and exposed the LIES from that Church in the true spirit of a protestant, protesting sin.
“And now I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you”
Jeremiah 42:21
“For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God”
Acts 20:27
Law vs Grace

We walked the streets, like we owned them
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”
Proverbs 3:6
Are you stone faced when confronting evil or is your mission to be more like Joel Olsteen?
“For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed”
Isaiah 50:7
“Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house”
Ezekiel 3:8-9
At the end of the day, the sinner heard and saw the God of the Bible and for that, they will be responsible as per Ezekiel 3:17-21
These next few weeks we have much more to preach at. Air-support is requested as we are the boots on ground going behind enemy lines to promote LIGHT in a very dark world.
Thank you for your prayers
