More Preaching Pearls:

This video is a result of your prayers as we are the boots on the ground bringing light to those in darkness.
Remember ‘they’ say we do more damage than good, we have a false gospel, we preach hate and we have no fruit…..whoever ‘they’ are.
The Holy Ghost not only uses us to preach repentance but He is convicting the sinner of his sin as per John 16:8
“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment”
Don’t you just love the smell of debate in the morning?
Go to any college campus in America and speak against Islam, within minutes the debate is on.
“Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice”
Micah 6:1
Need to see a visual of Ezekiel 3:9
“As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house”
IF I only had a dime for every time someone threaten to beat me up on those streets we preach. Today I would be a very rich man.
I’m sure many of my critics would say we only like that response and that is our motive to get that reaction. Just like they would have accused John the Baptist of the same and wanting to go to jail for calling the king an adulterer.
I’m sure these same faultfinders would have accused of Stephen of wanting to get beat and killed because he never said the words ‘love and forgiveness’ in his outdoor sermon.
And Paul could have stayed out of jail and courts IF he only preached John 3:16, perhaps he enjoyed getting beat and arrested in the cities he preached.
What will all these critics say about the two witnesses in Revelation when they are finally killed? T
hey would rejoice with thei world saying ‘they brought shame to the gospel for raining down fire on sinners, don’t they know Jesus said turn the other cheek, they failed’
With Trump now in office I believe we have now gone beyond the city police protecting us on the streets of America.
I often get accused of those in other ministries who say ‘we don’t need the police or metal barracades when we witness on the streets like you do Ruben.’
Well, there just may be a reason the police are not called, you are never threatened with arrest, never get punched or spit on as those demons have no need to manifest.
Stop wanting to be offensicve to the sinner, don’t offend God. Rather than trying to find common ground with the sinner, try exposing their sin as per John 7:7 and law before grace.
“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil”
“For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God”
Acts 20:27
Why is it many that many who consider themselves to be ‘evangelists’ do not wish to give the ‘full counsel’ of God when they preach?
They only want to talk about love, grace, mercy but will never talk about God being angry and will punish most with everlasting torment.
Many that wish to share Christ have bitten the Joel Osteen apple of being positive with a smile. Must I remind them that Jesus spoke much more on hellfire fire, outer darkness, everlasting fire, a place where the worn dies not, weeping and gnashing teeth than love, grace and mercy combined?
The reason why street preachers preach so much on hellfire is because most do not and we need to even out that teeter totter to give that sinner the full understanding of standing before a holy God.
Need to see a visual of Isaiah 13:2
“Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles”
lift up a banner at a good location (CHECK)
Raise the voice (CHECK)
Shake the hand (CHECK)
The motive is to get them into the kingdom of God
There is a bit more to open air preaching with standing on a corner with a sign.
The key is location, location and location
“Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying”
Proverbs 1:20-21
Position is critical to be heard and that is why God wants us to preach, to ears that need to hear.
Many men of God preached at the city gates, the marketplace and John the Baptist did not baptize people in a small quiet pool of water but the river where there was much activity.
Pray for that main artery, look or map that location and secure that real estate to glorify God
“Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors”
Proverbs 8:1-3
“When supporting a false ministry, who is the guilty party? The false teacher asking for money or those that send money to those ministries.”
I would say if there is a guilty party, it is the preacher and what he said to get that money or did with money given. I do believe people should ‘try the spirits’ and examine the doctrine of certain ministries and denominations to the Bible before supporting them, because they may be guilty of supporting lies.
However God does love a ‘cheerful giver’ and most people give believing they are supporting a Godly ministry.
If that money is given cheerfully, I do not find fault, however if they give for the sole purpose to succeed or because they are told they owe God 10% or that may nudge them away from God blessing them.
I say WRONG motive and they are just as guilty. I say give joyfully, without letting your left hand knowing what your right hand did.
If someone wants to send money to a TV evangelist with a good heart, they are pure as they did it unto the Lord. If some little blue haired old lady wished to give all her inheritance to a minister and is not doing to gain salvation, she is fine.
If God only wants 10% He owes me a big check, because I spend much more than that and if someone sends me money for my public service. That support goes 100% into our preaching and because technically that is God’s money, so I will stretch that $1.00 into $1.50.
I am NOT 501c3 so if any one supports what I do, there is NO receipt given for taxes. That gift is filed under being cheerful and for that I am thankful and responsible for how I spend that money. One will not get rich being an open air preacher, no million dollar mansions, lear jets and large bank accounts.
As supporters and Churches can one day get offended on a news story about your sign or said, so most are encouraged to support themselves. Paul worked with his hands and did get donations from the Churches too.
For the record I get very little support but can do MUCH with little, nor do I put a guilt trip on people to support what I do, as God seems to allow me to travel for over 3 decades.
