A marathon week

I am both sadden but yet I rejoice, that our dear brother Zach Baxter has gone to be with the Lord.
Anyone who visited Atlanta would have seen or worked with him. He was a fiery Pentecostal preacher who loved the Lord and was not ashamed of his faith.
Zach had every excuse not to preach, he was almost blind, had so many physical problems and walked with a cane, yet made time to witness and preach.
Even with that, he was pushed down and insulted for holding a banner or wearing a sandwich sign and passing out tracts.
He upheld the standard of God and a man if you met once, you would not soon forget.
He now has no pain as that faith is now reality as I long for a holy family reunion in heaven to see and hear his voice again.
“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away” James 4:14
No doubt Zach will hear those magnificent words from our Lord “Welcome thy good and faithful servant”
This week the Catholics had a convention from Thursday to Sunday in Anaheim, home of Disneyland and is that not appropriate, as this Church is a playground of sin and heresy.
We have much liberty and we work well with the convention security and Anaheim police and we preached outside the convention before it started and the lunch breaks. Banners were tailored for the banners as we contended for the faith.
For days they were reproved on doctrine and their priests being child molesters and homosexuals, we also reminded them of having a bloody history like Islam. The Church murdered people like me for not kissing the ring and speaking out against infant baptism. Today Church will molest and abuse their flock, not much has changed with the Rome-cult.
The biggest reaction is when we spoke out against the Virgin Mary. They cried out that they do not worship Mary nor do they pray to Mary.
They only ask her to intercede and when you remind them Mary had other children, that is blasphemy. Not mush is spoken of Mary in the four gospels because she not a player, this does not mean she was not a holy women.
Jesus never said to pray to His mother, adore my mother, make images to my mom, He said direct your prayers to ‘Our Father’ not saint Jude, saint Anthony or Mary.
“And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it”
Luke 11:27-28
IF prayer and great honor to Mary was given this would have been scripture where we would find it, as someone from the crowd esteemed His mother and our Lord responded “Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it”
NOT, “Yes and thank you for acknowledging my mother, please idolize her for she is the mother of god”
Most know more tradition than Bible and because we subscribe to the Holy Bible, they will use the cut and paste argument ‘sola scriptura’ nothing new under the sun when debating with a Catholic.
It was another year we shined the LIGHT to a dark religion who will trust in tradition of men than God’s written Word as per Mark 7:13;
“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye”
One young man told me that he had read the Bible and had questions, so he talked with his priest and his priest told him ‘Not to read that Bible.’ He had questions and I was glad to answer those questions as he doubts his religion, not faith.
I had several people debate with me that God does not exist and these several people were Church leaders for the Catholic youth.
One leader said he was an atheist another said the Bible is filled with untruths and these were teachers.
  Not one Catholic knew the 10 Commandments in order and none knew the 2nd Commandment;
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God”
For days we rebuked them for breaking the Second Commandment in both letter and spirit but they cried out that they do not worship Mary.
Knowing that images of her are in every Catholic Church, coupled with candles and pads to kneel down as they chant ‘hail Mary’ and this is not worship?
“For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD”
And yes we pointed out the child molestation within the clergy, theology aside, this Church is known for spending millions of dollars in hush money and millions more defending these priests to touch and have sex with little boys.
Bishops are known for hiding these priests or sending them to another parish rather than turning them over to the local police.
At the end of the day, one cannot say God did not try to awake these people from their religious stupor as we make ‘no small stir’ outside the convention center.
BIG SHOUT-OUT to Brother Dan from Michigan who joined us and I enjoyed working with this young man. Good content in his message, short and to the point.
ARE YOU WILLING TO JOIN THE FIGHT or are you happy cheering from the nose bleed seats?
“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”
Psalm 94:16
On Friday night Joe Osteen was in Los Angeles and that is only an invitation for a street preacher to show up. I stood outside Staples Center to exhort his followers not to outgrow the Bible and there is more to Christianity than feeling good.
Now if you wanted to see Osteen, one must purchase a ticket and one woman told me that she was looking for a ticket at the sold out event but was not willing to pay $1,000.00 for two seats.
A few ministers talked with me and they agreed with me but said they were going because someone had bought them a ticket. One lady said she did not like my method but she agreed that Jesus would not have charged money to hear Him speak.
The crowd was trendy and worldly, tattoos and piercings was the dress code and why bring your Bible, when you can buy one, extra of course if Osteen autographs it.
The picture above is what it looks like from the pulpit, when a street preacher gets a chance to speak in a Church on Sunday.…..and don’t expect an offering or hand shaking either.
Sunday was the L.A. Marathon and they too need to hear from God. Because the temperature was going to be about 95 degrees the race started early.
This year’s route started from Dodger Stadium and ended at Santa Monica, so the Lord gave me a nice location at the bottom of hill and I placed my large ‘Trust Jesus’ banner there and it could not get missed. They saw that banner for at least 10 minutes coming down that hill right in front of them.
Location is paramount as per Proverbs 1:20-21; “Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words”
With reason, as 36 runners were taken to the hospital from the heat and one died from the heat, and every one of them passed by my ‘TRUST JESUS’ banner. One never knows that ‘last days’ can be taken very literal and your sign or peaching was the last time God reached out before that appointed time.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”

Click the link below and get edified as to how those banners trigger conversation. I trust you understand that after hours of talking and preaching for days at a time, my voice was a bit sore, but our method of preaching provokes great conversations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5z8L9K_ZEI
How often do we ‘street preachers’ get told “see our fruit, where is your fruit? Look at all my fruit and you have none. That is because of your approach” Must I remind those workers that fill their baskets of John 4:38; “I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours”
They have entered into another’s man’s labor to reap that seed.
Others have broken that hard rocky ground.
Others have plowed that soil.
Others have planted that seed.
Others have watered that seed.
Others have weeded around that seed.
If I may get biblical with YOU?
YOU were used to reap our harvest, where others have toiled. So YOUR basket is filled with fruit because of other people’s effort and it is God that will give growth. Unless YOU want credit for that too?
We are thankful God has used others like YOU to reap our harvest, can YOU also be thankful for those who have plowed that ground and seed before YOU…???....selah…..
