Super Bowl or bust

Sunday we preached outside the SAG Awards in downtown Los Angeles and we will be persecuted with 70 degree weather.
Mark and Larry stood by the Red Carpet and preached to the crowds watching these fallen stars.
I did the limo drive, so a good portion of the celebrities were be preached too.
What are the SAG Awards you ask?
SAG stands for the ‘Screen Actors Guild’ and this award is for both film and television as the venue will recognize outstanding performances in film and primetime television.
Of course ‘Jesus Christ’ nor ‘God’ is never nominated for an award as His Name is used often but never recognized. One year I mentioned this at the Academy Awards and even volunteered myself to take the golden Oscar on behalf of God and Jesus.
I heard nothing as their people has not yet contacted my people. Now what does a SAG Award look like?
This golden calf is a nude male figure holding both a mask of comedy and a mask of tragedy, is called "The Actor." It is 16 inches (41 cm) tall, weighs over 12 pounds (5.4 kg), is cast in solid bronze.
And the big question is, does this get you into God’s kingdom? One is willing to sell their soul to Hollywood for a 12 pound piece of bronze?
What a cheap date.
The brothers by the Red Carpet seen a number of celebrates and someone from the SAG awards came out to interview Mark, not once but twice. I had a few walk by me on the sidewalk.
Most of these Hollywood types seemed perplexed because we do not look at them as little gods but talk to them as a sinner in need of a savior.
Next month we have a date with the Grammy Awards and the Academy Awards and security at these events are off the charts. It’s like protecting the president and pope.
Heading out the Phoenix Friday morning to preach the God of the Bible to the pig-skin-dolaters.
We are sending a little army of street preachers from California to preach against the half inflated idol and remind those coming to the game that penalties in football can be 15 yards, whereas penalties with a holy God are eternal.
And we will remind everyone that someone will lose on Sunday, as per Judgment Day, many people have faith and many people will lose out on God’s kingdom. Super Bowl is not just a Sunday game, the entire weekend before and after the game is filled with people that wish to party in host city and only the preferred can afford the game, airfare and hotel.
There will be no tail-gate parties like past years, since 9-11 these big events have changed for security reasons.
Someone can park a car in the parking lot with a bomb and make a statement for their god. So the stadium parking will be off limits during the game.
Be advised that Sunday evening churches will be emptied and football widow will be shopping, not to mention those not interested in the game will watch the multi-million dollar commercials or the halftime show. The big game is more about big money as the city Phoenix will make millions of dollars this weekend, a 30 second commercial during Super Bowl costs 4.5 million dollars.
Vegas will bet on anything, from the winner to have many points, field goals, flags tossed, first downs, punts, etc. Nevertheless, we will be outside with banners flying and everyone that walks by is led to the Lord, now what they do with what they saw and heard is upon them.
It is expected to rain most of the weekend and weather or not we will be outside ‘in season and out of season’
How many times have I heard Christians wonder why God has not answered their prayers.
Perhaps, because they don’t make time to listen to God? Maybe their prayer life is them always talking and never making time to hear?
New concept people:
“let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak”
.....or may I be so bold to say ‘learn to SHUT UP!!! when praying.’
 How can God talk to you when you give Him no time to respond as per Ecclesiastes 5:2;
“Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few”
Clean that up, my prayer life is mainly me sitting still pondering God without words.
Can you actually sit still for even 10 minutes without your mind wondering off?
“For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily”
Are you a friend of the world OR does the world consider you an enemy?
Do you have a good name OR is your reputation blemished? Are you hated for the gospel’s sake OR just because of your color of skin, bank account, personal beliefs, surname, politics, opinions, denomination, or just because you’re a jerk?
“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”
Galatians 4:16
