Riding into Dallas

Last Sunday was the Golden Globe Awards
This Hollywood event was in Beverly Hills and this award show is global for both big screen and TV.
Now since 911 no one can get close to the Red Carpet…and don’t forget to thank a Muslim for that…so we stand just before the security point where all the celebrities must pass and their limos must have proper clearance.
  Location is everything:
“Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying”
Proverbs 1:20-21
Brother Mark was the main preacher and the BHPD gave us much liberty as they have in all the years.
  A number shouted back and I had one celebrity roll his tinted down part way, so all I saw was his forehead and eyes. He said to me ‘It’s not Christian for you to speak about Robin Williams like that. Just not Christian.”
Now I never mentioned the death of Williams at the Golden Globe, so this celebrity must have heard me say that someplace else. I did this mystery celeb that Williams thought he that problems that fed his depression. He is now in a world of pain. As he drove off rolling up that black tinted window, he again said ‘Not Christian’ my last response was ‘Robin Williams wishes he were a Christian’
I don’t do much with TV or big screen, so even if I knew these people, I would not be star struck. Here is a few pictures of Dale standing with his sandwich sign, which for this venue is GREAT because it is eye level to those windows.
 They cannot help but see and read our signs.
Now the photo below, has an interesting story, the guy across the street is a limo driver and he was so amused with Mark, so he parked the limo and took pictures and filmed the preaching. I do not know who he was driving but after he took pictures he turned around and sent and texted someone.
We will have many more Hollywood awards before the granddaddy of golden calf’s, the Academy Awards, after we return from Mardi Gras
As Thursday night I will preach at the ‘Critics Choice Movie Awards’ at the Hollywood Palladium….AND….Friday I fly into Dallas for a Muslim event in Garland Texas.
 The Texas school district will host an Islamist conference to fight Islamophobes and promote Islam. Does that not have my name written ALL OVER IT?
They just invited me and my sign.
This hit was penciled in at the last minute and I will yoke up with a number of local believers as we will fly our anti-Islam banners and set the record straight. Islam is wicked and deadly. To read more about this anti-Christ meeting, click the link below
And get this, one of the featured speakers at this ‘Islamic Conference’ had advocated for Sharia Law and had his fingerprints in the 1993 WTC bombing. Something tells me, they will label us as terrorists.
To read more on their featured speaker,
Every Christian in Texas should be
outraged at this meeting.
I get emails like this often, and maybe you do too?
“Ruben, I am confused, I have noticed a number of your signs and shirts that read ‘fear God’ why should we fear God, we should love God.
 One cannot love and fear God. It appears your OT God and not NT God.”
My response:
One can both love God and fear God at the same time. It is the LOVE for God that will have one walk and obey God for His service. AND it is the FEAR of God which can make one not live in sin. I see harmony, not confusion, I believe they both work in concert for your benefit.
  That word ‘fear’ is not a state of awe or reverence but terror as per Matthew 10:28;
 “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”
No need to know Greek or Hebrew, good old King Jimmy gives you the definition by allowing the Bible to interpret the Bible with just using the BIBLE.
 The verse used reads “fear not them which kill the body” now IF someone put a knife to your neck, would you be in a state of awe or reverence? OR would you be in a state of horror?
  IF context means anything, that SAME FEAR should be funneled towards God, as He can “destroy both soul and body in hell” Remember this was said to His disciples, men that gave everything up to follow Jesus and you say invalid?
We have verses of angels appearing to men and what do they do? Those people fall down in FEAR and the first thing these heavenly messengers said was ‘fear not’ as in people were terrified. God is not bipolar, He is the same God found in the Old Testament.
 Don’t think that we do not find the word ‘fear’ in the New Testament.
For example in Acts 5 we read about Ananias and Sapphira who lied and they were both killed the text reads
“And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things”
Did you read that, not just ‘fear’ but GREAT FEAR….and must I remind you this was after the death and resurrection of Jesus.
  In Ephesians 5:21 one can read;
“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God”
1 Peter 2:17 reads;
“Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor”
And in Revelation 14:6-7 we read;
“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters”
I may be wrong but I do believe the book of Revelation is found in the New Testament and this was a message ‘FEAR GOD’ that is being proclaimed.
Again I can both LOVE and FEAR God without question and show me someone who does not ‘fear God’ and I will show you someone with no wisdom or understanding.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge” Proverbs 1:7
NOTE: Fearing God is just the beginning of wisdom/knowledge.
Wish to get a crowd on any college campus just carry a sign with two words ‘FEAR GOD’ and that sign is like bringing bugs to a light.
I will leave you with this verse found in Ecclesiastes 12:1 which is still valid today;
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”
Remind me again of WHY you are not going to Church on Sunday, you say because the weather is too cold? And WHY is it you refuse to preach in public, because of cold rain or snow?
But heathen will sit in the snow for hours just to watch a game and you having the Spirit of God cannot be moved? Just doing my job and giving YOU ‘street preachers’ a good kick in the rump
Love and kisses, Uncle Ruben
