The Land of Mormon

The photo shown above was taken from an AP reporter at this year’s Mormon conference.
“For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them”
Acts 28:27
If one wishes to preach a message to the LDS Church, you get more ‘bang for your buck’ by going to their yearly General conference as once again we stood outside one of the main walkways to proclaim the God of the Bible to religious people. And like most religious people, they believe they know God and are saved.
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate”
Titus 1:16
As with any event we preach at, the local police are involved. Here is a picture taken of the SLCPD crime lab taking a picture of us before the event started, as the local government, the police and the media are in bed together in this city.
The local police stand by to keep any angry Mormon at bay and to make sure we are within our rights. Over the years of fighting the city in courts, we have much liberty as preaching a religious event is much different than a sinful heathen venue.
The photo below is Temple security and this is one of the main persons in charge as, most of these Temple security are retired law enforcement or retired FBI. He was asking about Dearborn and what we are doing at the Muslim event, as he said they were watching what was happening in Michigan. The Muslim event was canceled last year because of our presence or as they called it ‘religious tension.’
Location is paramount as per Proverbs 1:20-21 “Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words”
We publicly reproved them outside their 21,000-seat conference center for their false teaching and their prophet who has never prophesied and how their book of Mormon reads like a King James Bible, when that language was not used in 1830.
“Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors”
Proverbs 8:1-3
And of course like any street preacher, that type of open air preaching does provoke smaller groups of conversation, filled with great questions. These small life changing conversations are a direct result to outdoor preaching.
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”
1 Corinthians 1:30
We debated that Christianity does not believe Jesus and satan were brothers and the Garden of Eden was in Missouri or the need to wear holy underwear.
“And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables”
2 Timothy 4:4
The convention was surrounded with Christians who had signs, passed out tracts and rebuked sin.
....not only do they listen but they feel the need to take pictures and put those pictures on facebook or blogs. Hundreds came up and said they read the 5 page story on ‘LDS Living’ (as seen on last weeks blog/report) or saw the movie ‘Us and Them’ and were impressed. I had an active Mormon standing next to me holding the LDS Living magazine like a does with a ‘WatchTower’ saying “Our Church indorses this man, maybe you need to listen to what he says. Listen to his words and read about him in LDS Living”
Also this same weekend Mormon women protested outside the convention and Temple demanding to be priests like the men inside their sacred Temple. What do you expect? The women wish to be equal to a man and can you blame them, as this religion teaches that they will be equal to God one day and rule their own planet.
Of course, we went to the park where they rallied before the march on the streets and Temple area and reproved them for not submitting to men as God commends. This walk was filled with Mormon women who invited lesbians and pagans to join them.
No doubt the men of this Church have lost their backbone and one day these women will be equal to priests, and one day homosexuals will marry in their beloved Temple.
Mark, John and I reproved the women for being rebellious and the police moved in and told us they had the permit to the park. We moved to the sidewalk and continued to preach to them as they left the park and walked towards Temple grounds. They were allowed permission and these protesting women went one-by-one to the door of the Tabernacle and asked to be allowed into the priesthood meeting. They were rejected and I say they should get used to being rejected as God will one day reject them from His kingdom.
“Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word”
John 8:43
Need a sign from God girls?
Here is an AP photo as they were walking by us and leaving the park, within minutes of this photo, the sky opened up with rain and hail.
 There were a number of articles about this rally and March with the numbers ranging from 500 to 20,000. I was there and the number was MAYBE 150 people combined. Here is one of many articles written with two pictures of us preaching;
We now hope and pray for more labors to harvest our labor of planting and watering those seeds, as per John 4:38.
“I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours”
Thank You for the many who pray for us as this report is a result of your prayers, as we were the boots on the ground.

This week we have Joel Osteen coming to a stadium and number of open-air preachers will outside reproving the smiley Joel and his following. Of course IF you wish to get your ears tickled, it will cost you, as this event one needs a paid ticket to get inside. He has been known to say that Jesus is not the only way and one does not need to believe in Jesus to go to heaven. Is it any wonder that he is loved by so many? No sin exposed, no repentance, non-judgmental and his god is all forgiving and all loving. At best he is just a motivational speaker that will promote his books and ministry.
