2014 A.D.

2014 A.D.
Las Vegas was a blessing as we preached on the streets coupled with a SOPA convention and reminded the masses what happens in Vegas gets noted in heaven.
We ushered in the New Year with banners raised and what a way to end the year and begin the new, promoting Jesus. 2014 rotates around the name JESUS!!
We arrived in Vegas on Friday to fix the conference room with seating and tables.
After this was done we stood outside the largest mosque in Las Vegas with banners before their prayer time but only one car drove in. I guess the Muslims were inside the casinos and did not want to pray on their magic carpet that Sabbath.
SOPA started at 9AM last Saturday, as we had a number of speakers and a number of men gave their testimony of whom they were influenced to open air preach and how they started.
We were exhorted on our public labor and preached in public in the evening.
Saturday night we preached on Freemont Street with about 12 banners flying, two horns blasting and a number of people passing out tracts.
Freemont security came out as did about 8 police cars as they stood around watching us and keeping the sinners at bay until we left downtown Vegas. Remember, this is not a college campus, this is a real city, with real crime going on, but we made such a stir that someone within the city decided we needed that many police watching.
Sunday we had the conference room filled to capacity for Church ‘street preacher style’ and more speakers to edify each other and to shed light on why we do what we do.
That evening we went to Las Vegas Blvd to preach and everyone who walked by was led to the Lord, via our banners lined up, hearing the preaching or taking tracts. Jesus said let your light shine but these casinos have more light shining as Christians walk the streets ashamed.
Monday was again filled with speakers from many states and more testimonies inside the conference room as we had T-shirts given out, free books and tracts on two tables not to mention
 a number of signs sold.
Monday night we worked in two groups. ‘Group A’ went back to Freemont Street and preached to the masses walking downtown Brother Adrian and his children working the crowds in the cold night.
“I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn”
Job 12:4
And ‘Group B’ preached outside of 5 big nude clubs in Vegas and a number people that worked inside came out to argue that they love Jesus too.
Shining light in darkness as per 2 Corinthians 4:6; “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”
Of course the police were again called on us and we had at least 4 to 5 police cars follow us from nude club to nude club as they told the management we have every right to stand there.
This guy in the photo below was the manager of one of the nude bars and he came out to see what all the commotion was outside his building. He later wanted to take a picture of the man who rebuked him for not having a better job and working at McDonalds flipping burgers.
At this particular place they tried to block us with trucks and while the truck was backing up to block the preaching, the truck backed into a car in the parking lot. The driver was beyond embarrassed.
Preaching at the Red Light District in Las Vegas and these people were reminded that ‘Red’ is used for STOP and Red is also the color of BLOOD that we are covered in from Calvary, which can
blot out their sins.
Tuesday was more speakers with Q&A and fellowship with likeminded believers.
The link below is from some speakers at SOPA 2014, click and enjoy:
Tuesday night was New Years Eve and that evening we stood outside Caesars Palace in the middle of the street. We lined up and had police behind us watching, soon after the police decided to set up two sets of metal barricades to keep the drunks for attacking us. Every once in a while two horses would come out and move the mob away from us and the metal barricades.
We had three megaphones going at the same time as drinks and cigarettes were tossed at us. If there was a ‘hot spot’ in Las Vegas that night, it would have been where the street preachers stood.
Everyone argued with us that they know God, believed in Jesus and are saved as they continued another year in sin without a conscience.
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate”
Titus 1:16
The picture below was taken from the local paper “Las Vegas Review-Journal” as you can see the banners in the background.
We do pray that someone will reap the work we bestowed on New Years and make that person a NEW creature in Christ as God gives the growth.
We trust that you will be used of God this New Year to be a Watchman on the wall.
We had men preaching the God of the Bible in almost every major city in America. Here is a clip from the brothers in New York.
