Labor Day Report

"For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe"
1Timothy 4:12
A number of us flew into the ‘Big Easy’ from around the country and world. David (PEN), Buddy (NC), Doug (FL), Brian (NC), Nolan (NC), John (KY), Gary (NC), Craft (New York), Pat (NC), Ruben (CA), Petar (Norway) and 2 local brethren Joe,
Mitch (LA).

“And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour”
Ecclesiastes 2:10
And our purpose was to expose sin, rebuke sin , proclaim the standard of God, the need to believe in Jesus coupled with fruit meet for repentance. The event was named ‘Southern Decadence’ and this is the same time and same venue that
Hurricane Katrina destroyed that city but how often do you hear that?
Here is a trailer of southern decadence as these people labor in their sin:
This was the same event where nine of our men were arrested for preaching Jesus at night on Bourbon Street, because some odd city law. Glory to God, we fought that law and it has since been over turned by the courts. A number of officers were not in favor but were just doing their job, as were we.
This year as in most years we walked into the police station located in the French Quarters and told them we were in town and if their were any new laws we need to know about. This year we had much liberty with the local police and they received calls day and night about us but rarely responded.
Banners were raised, megaphones used and freedom to walk and stand at will. On night we had about 6 officers standing by us for hours.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course”
The police did watch us as they pulled a few people off of us daily as per the photos below and they did make one arrest.
Picture 1: NOPD watching Gary’s back as he answers questions.
Picture 2: The guy in the pink shirt is being questioned after he poured his drink his mix on me right in front of the police
Picture 3: Brother Pat is showing video of two homosexuals who were spitting on him

We arrived on Thursday and Friday morning we were outside a local abortion clinic and for lack of a better word it was DEAD.
Praise the LORD.
The police were called in as this death building in located around apartments and people complained. It appeared no one murdered their baby that day as we preached to the doctor and those who worked inside, not to mention exposed the clinic to the neighborhood.
We later walked the French Quarter and Jackson Square preaching and stood in the
middle of Bourbon Street.
“Contend for the faith”
And that preaching provoked fruitful dialog to those walking as we were able to answer questions and challenge them about what they believe. When viewing the photos understand the noise level on those streets are high and at times just talking to someone personally is raising your voice.
This young gal in the picture below came to Bourbon Street to apologize to Gary and I as last year she screamed and mocked us as we preached. Brian filmed her as she said that she is not a Christian yet but her conscience was pricked and wanted to repent to us personally.
We did spend some time with her and after her apology as she walked
off Bourbon Street.

We had a few drinks poured out after talking with sinners as conviction from the
Holy Ghost was present.

If these pictures can not move you, maybe this preach clip can:
“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars
for ever and ever”
Daniel 12:3
As with any preach trip, the stories are endless but there is one person that caught Bourbon Street by surprise as the crowd were traumatized with his preaching. As they say in Hollywood ‘a star is born’ and this star shined his light that weekend.
May I present street preacher Nolan.
He is waxing strong in the Lord as his parents have raised him up to fear the Lord and proclaim truth knowing that the theater he will be used in the next decade will be very vile.
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith,
in purity”
1Timothy 4:12
Such a pure sound when he preached on those darken streets as homosexuals and drunks protested his presents, even women argued that him being there was ‘child abuse.’
Now this said from women who believe they have the right to murder their children. This from homosexuals that can never produce children naturally and are known to molest children and they have the gall to accuse us of child abuse.
Nolan preaches with passion and fire and we were blessed to stand with him. God asks a question of who will rise up and Nolan filled the gap.
“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”
Psalm 94:16
One night after Noland went to a neighboring Church I was able to pray for someone who was moved by the preaching. This person was almost in tears and of course I had him remove his cigarettes and lighter before we prayed. He also was given contact information to a local Church, he was one of several we prayed for.
The photo below where I am shaking hands, is from a guy who told me that if he did not believe in God, just hearing Nolan preach would have put ‘The fear of God’ in him. He stayed with us and said if anyone touches Noland he would go to prison
and stop that person.
God did not send His men into a wicked city with a Joel Osteen smile but rather a ‘stone face’ to deliver a message as seen with Brother John and as per Isaiah 50:7 which reads:
“For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed”
Sunday was their parade and so we arrived early to walk the route and find a location on the sidewalk to preach the parade as we follow the parade.
We were used as the ‘Wake Up’ call I the French Quarter as we preached to flee fornication and as the purpose for ‘salt’ we preserved the standard of a holy God in a dying street. Slowly walking the streets question and answer time was over, as with Jonah our message was simple ‘Repent of your sin, not parade in your sin” was echoed with our megaphone.
“Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads”
Ezekiel 3:8
Before their perverted parade, we had our own parade liken to the 19th-century English hymn "Onward, Christian Soldiers, marching off to war” as these sinners are at war with God and did you know that song was originally entitled, "Hymn for Procession with Cross and Banners."
But they booed us, tossed drinks on us, one angry woman even unrolled her water hose to wet us but God’s timing was there and just when she tried to wet us a beer truck drove by and blocked us from her hose. Another woman from the balcony was screaming and got her water hose out to wet us but the preaching below continued.
Store owners complained and called the police and after almost a hour later two patrol cars showed up and one officer told us ‘No more megaphone’ I declined and she called her supervisor.
"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."
As we waited for the supervisor the pervert parade was trying to get pass us but it was stalled and we were working out the megaphone details with the police. The supervisor did show and gave us liberty to continue with the horns as the parade started up again. So with that, we now used two megaphones and preached against the decadence parade and followed the parade in the street after it was over.
At the end of the day once again that particular section of New Orleans no doubt heard the Word of God, saw the banners and had an option of taking tracts. They are without excuse as we were soul warning for heaven’s sake.
“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul”
Ezekiel 3:17-19
