We started off from Los Angeles about 6AM in Brother Mark’s new Toyota Prius and this is a great way to ‘baptize’ a new car, take it preaching. That we did, as we put about two thousand miles on this trip from the heat of Arizona to the snow of Utah in a 5 day trip in several cities.
We arrived at ASU around noon.
Once we raised our banners we drew a crowd as we had anti-Muslim banners, anti-homosexual banner and general banners and like a bright light, it drew attention. We had Muslims that were angry at our banners and homosexuals and atheists defended that religion of peace. I asked when was the last time this religion of peace allowed a ‘gay pride parade’ in Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan. I told the female students that this ‘religion of peace’ would have killed them just for having an education or how they are dressed. Atheists would also be killed as their history was bloody.
And as a result of the open-air preaching, we had smaller conversations as in the two photos below that were very fruitful as we defended the Bible and answered questions about sin, evolution, Islam and politics in a very personal way. Whatever question they had, we had a response as per 1Peter 3:15; “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear”
The police stood by and watched as one student tossed her coffee on Jeremy and the police detained her. Jeremy was asked if he wanted to press charges against her but he declined. The campus police however were going to take action against her as they witnessed the crime.
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake”
Luke 6:22
The Muslims on campus united against us. They tried to shut us down with threats or bumping into our banners, so they decided put out large speakers and blast this ‘Muslim-rap’ which seemed to drown out our preaching. There are two things that can bring unity to any college campus and make any student stand side by side with another student.
1- Open air preachers can always unify sinners
2- Music also brings everyone together and even if the students at ASU could not understand what was being said, they danced to the rap beat and that’s all that matters.
With the music blasting on campus and Muslims dancing together, while ASU students cheered, it looked like our preaching was hindered……..however…..
….they did not know we have mega-phones in our vehicle and since the campus police did not shut the loud music off, I had Mark get one and we blasted back with our Truth-Horn for almost an hour, before the campus police shut the Muslim music off, then asked us to shut down our amplification.
Once the ‘Muslim rap’ was shut down and the dancing stopped, the crowd once again turned towards us to defend their sin and false religion. As the Lord used us to awaken thought, it was good to see a number of Christian students also defend us in public.
In the midst of what appears to be chaos, there was sanity as Brother Diego talked with a young man who saw the banners, heard the preaching and was convicted. He later told me that knew he lived in sin as a believer and never repented. He also knew that if he died he would go to a fiery hell and he wanted to repent.
He said he did not want me to have him recite a prayer but wanted us to pray for him and that we did and it was he that cried out to God regarding his need of a savior. He joined us for pizza after campus (photo below) and later stood with us at Mill Street where he was thinking about getting drunk that night but it appears God had other plans for him.
Pray for this young man named Chris as he was taught many things about God and lives with his father who is an atheist. He knows much Bible but needs to put that knowledge into action as per James 2:17; “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone”
That evening we went to the bar district in Tempe and again once the banners were raised, we drew a crowd as well as the city police who seemed concerned with our safety. This was not campus police but Tempe Police and they gave us much liberty to contend for the faith publicly.
Preaching against drunks while drinking is liken to separating a bone from a dog in heat, expect some snapping and growling. As this same student on campus at noon is not the same sinner at midnight and there is something about darkness that makes a sinner courageous. They do love that
darkness, literally.
“men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil”
“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise”
Proverbs 20:1
That alcohol can make someone brave and a few people were pulled away from us by the local security, as they told me we could use our banners but not the megaphone. I told them we would continue to use the horn as the Tempe Police said nothing to me and if there was a problem I would like the police to tell me not security. Three times I was asked not to use the megaphone by security guards and all three times they were denied.
Here is a ‘happy camper’ showing love to Brother Danny after his god ‘beer’ was getting rebuked.
What joy?
Many of these people claimed to be Christians and used the “Jesus drank wine” saying to justify their drinking. I asked if they can turn water into wine, I will roll up my banner and drink with them. Too bad these people do not defend God the way they defend alcohol or revival would have happened yesterday.
“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit”
Ephesians 5:18
After midnight we marched off Mill Street as we had a date with the homosexuals in the morning.
“They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks” Joel 2:7
The next morning we were in Phoenix for the yearly sodomite parade as the city police gave us much liberty and protection, and it appeared we were the only public light in this dark shameful parade. The photo used was taken for the local newspaper (Arizona Republic).
Phoenix Police gives us a safe place to park our vehicles and a spot on the route to preach with our megaphones and raised banners. They also place two sets of metal barricades around us as both undercover and uniformed officers stand by and keep the angry sodomites at bay. We have earned this as over the years these peace loving sinners have attacked us and I have had a number of Christians tell me ‘Ruben we do not need police protection at these gay pride parades.” I say of course not because your message is not threatening to homosexuals or you will get the city’s attention. Frankly they are not even a blip on the radar when they
preach these events.
For most of Saturday morning we were surrounded by men who wished to be women and women who were not happy being female, even normal people who considered us ‘haters’ for not accepting culture today. This was nothing more than an ‘identity crisis’ parade. Call me old fashion, but I believe God made us male and female, not mistakes. God hates ‘pride’ and these people are considered an ‘abomination’ and ‘reprobate’ and in Romans chapter one, Paul says this sin “is worthy of death.”
Where were the Churches in Phoenix?
Come out, come out wherever you are.
Most of us were not locals as I do believe there is a reason these believers do not speak against this sin. The beam is still in their eye and
they are unfit to judge.
The picture below were taken as I pointed my finger shouting “Shame on YOU!” and the second photo was the angry crowd responding and shouting back “shame on you” back to me.
These people have no conscience, nor any conviction, as they are pride of their sin, indeed many are what the Bible calls reprobate as our God has turned them over to the flesh. To say that those people are quenching the Holy Ghost is an understatement. We have for years rebuked this parade as an act of love as Jesus said in Revelation 3:19;
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent”
These people are the ones on ‘death row’ as their lifestyle will send them to an early grave. They know they are living a lie, which is why the alcohol and drug abuse is high in that community. Disease is a just reward and even suicide is an option, which is the reason they need a pep rally or parade to remind each other they are good people.
Romans chapter one sheds light on these unhappy people. “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie”
And of course we had the local newspaper taking pictures and the local TV news give us an interview as to why we were there. We do not preach for the media’s attention as some have accused us of doing, as we preach with the same emotion if they were only 3 people watching us, but we are ready to give the good news to the news.
After the parade was over they pranced into the city park and there was only one way in and that was by us, so we not only preached to those in the parade but those involved in the event. We had fellowship and a late lunch away from the city as Mark, Dean and I headed towards Salt Lake City for the last leg of our mission.
Like the LDS religion was grey and gloomy and our reason for coming to this city was to preach the last day of their General Conference where Mormons come from all over the world to see their Prophets and Apostles and of course hear preaching on the sidewalk. The next day I was scheduled to do an interview with a LDS high priest of Salt Lake and I do believe you will be shocked as to what Mormons believe and keep secret.
Sunday had only two sessions inside their convention center and there were open-air preachers around the convention center and at their Temple. Their leaders inside the General Conference have asked the followers not argue with us and to just walk by us. However many cannot resist, as they try to defend their Church and tell us they are just like us.
And of course we had a number of Salt Lake police around us as Mormons are known to grab our banners or bump or push us as they walk by, so as any event the local police are called just to make a presence. If the crowd around us stops to argue they jump in and ask not to block the sidewalk.
The gal in the second picture below works for the city attorney’s office and she is always summoned whenever we are in town to make sure everyone has free speech and even the ‘crime-lab’ officer is called (3 photo), not to take pictures of a dead body but to log where we are standing and what we are saying.
And in the fourth picture is the main person for the Mormon Temple security as he was asking me about Dearborn. He saw the video on the Muslims stoning us last year and could not believe it. I told him that Islam is not as nice as the LDS Church and he laughed. He is either a retired detective or involved with the government at one time but always comes out to talk.
I guess it’s safe to say that we do cause
“no small stir” in Utah?
Brother Mark had a banner with the laundry list of sin and that is for a reason. These Mormons defend sin and the reason why they can live in sin. I suggest they remove the name ‘saints’ from their Church because they have more in common with sinners than a saint.
The LDS Church has the same spirit that is in modern Christianity, I’m saved and it’s all under the blood, God is all loving and forgiving, I am the elect, yet they live like the devil.
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate”
Titus 1:16
And who says “No one listens” to us?
Not only do they listen but they want pictures and interviews. A number of younger Mormons said “I saw you on TV” or “I’ve watched your youtube clips” and of course they have questions regarding Dearborn and Islam.
As the last session was over they could not help but hear us and the question I repeated over and over was “What has your prophet prophesied that came to pass and gave him the reason to be called a prophet?” and of course all I got was the old deer in the headlight look.
Another question I asked was “Where in the Bible does it ever say we will become God’s or satan and Jesus were brothers?”
They are drunk with the kool-aide of Joseph Smith and love getting their ears tickled with how wonderful they are as the only true Church.
Below Street Preacher Mark is debating theology with an LDS member as these followers are pumped up after hearing from their prophet but they have no Bible, literally. I would say 4 out of 10 do not have a Bible with them going into their convention.
Here is a picture where I pointed out the ‘new guy’ in the crowd and that would be the black person as this LDS Church considered blacks to get the cruse of Cain as many people do not know that black people were not allowed to perform the priesthood duties in the LDS Temple. Black people were not allowed to have the priesthood until from the mid 1800s until 1978.
Why you axe?
Well the reason was because they were considered the cruse of Cain and the mark was the black skin.
According to Alma 3:6 "And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion."
Here is a few snips from their holy book, regarding the prophecy of the Lamanites we find these words: "became a dark, and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations." And again; "for this people shall be scattered, and shall become a dark, a filthy, and a loathsome people, beyond the description of that which ever hath been amongst us" Another text reads “the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."
The book of Mormon records that Mary “was exceedingly fair and white." And we find words; “like they were white, and exceedingly fair and beautiful” “white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome” “their filthiness and the cursing which hath come upon their skins" “their skins will be whiter than yours” “and behold they were white, even as Jesus"
Joseph Smith the first president, prophet, and founder of the Mormon Church once said; “Had I anything to do with the negro, I would confine them by strict law to their own species”
Brigham Young said in 1859 “That curse will REMAIN UPON THEM, and THEY NEVER CAN HOLD THE PRIESTHOOD”
Apostle McConkie said in 1966; "Negroes IN THIS LIFE are denied the priesthood; UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can they hold this delegation of authority from the Almighty."
But like most of Mormon doctrine culture will force them to change and the newer prophets supersede the old prophet.
Monday morning we set up for an interview with a high priest in the Salt Lake Temple. The interview was going to take place in his office which is filled with Mormon possessions.
Photo 1 is Dr. John getting his microphone connected and in photo 2 is the set where we will have this interview. It was filmed on Monday but will be ready to view within 2 weeks and you will not believe Mormon doctrine as this high priest is not ashamed of what the prophets teach.
For years John has joined me as I preached against his Church in Salt Lake. He has stood with me holding an umbrella over me in the rain as I rebuked his Church and even brought me hot coffee to keep my voice lubricated and loud. Remember a Mormon touching coffee is like a Hebrew eating
pork that is unclean.
Yet he believes that we ‘street preachers’ are a judgment from God against his Church for being lukewarm. And when I am in a public debate with a LDS elder and they tell me they don’t believe a particular doctrine, I call John into the fray and he rebukes them for not knowing their book of Mormon. They ask him “and who are you” John replies who he is and they need to understand what and why they believe because they know nothing.
John even hopes I cause confusion within his Church and rejoices when I can cause Mormons to doubt their faith as he believes they were lukewarm and needed to leave the Church.
So this interview has been talked about for some time and due to our schedules it has been difficult. This is not a debate, just me asking questions as to what his Church believes and their history. This dialogue will expose that Christianity and LDS believe in the same God/god with just a
few small differences.
Within his office is a library that is worth millions of dollars and these pictures do not show all the rooms filled with books and the last picture is Joseph Smith’s death mask. This was the actual profile of his prophet Joseph Smith after he was shot.
The pictures used in this report we taken from Brother Dean Elijah from Tucson Arizona a young open-air preacher and the filming of this interview was also taken from Brother Dean as he set up lights, sound and cameras to make this possible. He was the man behind the scenes and a big Thank You to him. We plan on having more plans with Dean on filming other events in other cities with a twist, so stay tuned as he may be the next Michael Moore but with a right wing, conservative, pro-God surprise.
